Story
🐾 Meet Brownie – A Survivor With a Heart of Gold Brownie was rescued from a high-kill shelter in California just in time—but she wasn’t alone. Hidden in her belly were six unborn puppies. She survived the shelter, a dog attack while in boarding, and a cross-country journey to the East Coast, where she safely gave birth to her pups in rescue care. All of her babies have been adopted. Now, Brownie is alone, waiting patiently for someone to choose her. She looks like a little teddy bear, with soft, fuzzy fur and the most soulful golden eyes. Her sweet energy is undeniable—you can feel the love radiate from her. Brownie is amazing with children, cats, and all people. Due to the trauma of being attacked by another dog, we believe she would thrive best as the only dog in the home, where she can relax, feel safe, and soak up all the love she’s waited so long for. Brownie has given everything for her babies. Now it’s her turn to be nurtured, protected, and loved. Could you be her hero? 📍Currently on the East Coast and ready to meet her forever family.
