***SPECIAL NEEDS ADOPTION***Meet Baby! This gentle senior pup has a calm, comforting presence. Baby is partially blind due to cataracts. He steers through the world using his sense of smell, hearing and what partial sight he has left. While Baby enjoys his relaxing time, he is always ready to get up for a walk and sometimes even a play session! He`s looking for a quiet home where he can be the only dog, allowing him to feel safe, settled, and at ease in his senior years. If he looks like the one for you, come down to the shelter to meet him today!Baby is currently up to date on all of his vaccines, neutered, and micro-chipped. All adoptions start with a visit to our shelter!

Story
This royally handsome boy is Tiger. He is a beautiful, purebred chow-chow. Typical of his breed - Tiger has an aloof temperament, a gorgeous dense lion-like mane, and a fully black/purple tongue. Tiger would be best suited as an only pet, since his arrival at the shelter was due to his previous dog sibling and him not getting along. He would also be best suited in an adult-only home due to his breeds nature to be aloof and his lack of experience with children. Tiger also has little-to-no experience being properly groomed, so he may need to be sedated for his grooms in the future to manage his dense coat. Sedation will cost more than a typical groom. While we don't expect his adopters to have chow-chow experience, we do hope that they have educated themselves thoroughly on the breed and their distinctive personalities. We are also happy to discuss this with you! If you would like to learn more about Tiger, please call the shelter at (603) 472-3647 and press 1 to speak with an adoptions counselor, or leave a voicemail. We will schedule a time for you to meet Tiger and learn more about him!
