Orville thoroughly enjoyed his outing in the bark park, leaving no leaf unturned and no scent unsniffed. His genetics are delightfully natural with his thick and amazingly soft coat. When you meet Orville, you will be greeted with his laid-back, peaceful, and friendly nature. He takes treats respectfully, walks gently on leash and when he senses your benevolence, he will keep his attention nicely focused on you and closely follow you about. Orville was joined in the escapade by Ruby Sue, a fun-filled canine whose Boxer underbite smiles will intrigue and entertain. Orville and Ruby Sue comfortably share a kennel together. Both of these seven-year-old “pups” had been previously adopted from our Humane Society into the same loving home. They have rejoined us now as their human had to enter a nursing home and couldn’t continue to care for them. Orville is a huggable, life experienced canine who has a smile that is heartwarming and happy. Like all canines, Orville enjoys a good quality chew bone or a piece of chicken jerky. It is not too surprising that Orville’s other favorite snack is a big bowl of Redenbacher’s popcorn.

Meet Koda! Koda is a sweet guy, he is gentle and calm, and enjoys slow walks and belly rubs. Koda walks really well on leash, and we believe he would do best in a home with older humans. Koda doesn't do well in a highly stimulated environment such as kids, other pets etc. Koda does need to be groomed, but he does super amazing with being groomed. DOB: 3/5/2023. Personality: Pepper arrived at the shelter with her brother, Joel, after her family had to move and could not take them along. She has settled in well at the shelter and is a volunteer favorite when we are visited by our friends with the Stone County Developmental Disability group! She is playful, affectionate, and happiest when she is getting belly rubs, playing tug, or tagging along for outdoor adventures. Pepper can get excited when meeting new people and may jump at first, but she settles once she gets some attention. Pepper is house trained, knows "sit," walks fairly well on a leash, and gets along with other dogs. She has also done well with cats and has been gentle with young children, though her enthusiasm can occasionally get the best of her. She rarely barks, loves rope toys and snacks, and would enjoy a home where she gets plenty of attention, playtime, and love.
