Meet Rihanna, our beautiful Chow Chow. We got her from a breeder in Las Vegas, and she’s been part of our family ever since. She was born in August 2023, so she’s almost 2 years old. Rihanna is very energetic, but also enjoys relaxing outside—her favorite spot is laying in the shade and just watching the world go by. She’s incredibly loyal and independent, but also gentle and calm once she gets to know you. We’re looking for a loving and responsible home that will give her the care, space, and attention she deserves. Sadly, my wife and I are both joining the military, and with two dogs, we were only able to find care for one of them. We’re heartbroken to let her go, but we truly hope to find someone who will love and cherish Rihanna as much as we do. Adjectives to describe her: loyal, independent, calm, protective, and sweet.

Story
Bubba is a full blooded blue Chow Chow who was acquired here in North Texas as a 6 week old puppy, approximately 14 years ago. He’s now a senior dog, with the energy to prove it, and so not at all aggressive. In fact, he’s very aloof and prefers to nap all day, preferably in a cool environment. Due to his age, Bubba’s hearing and vision are not what they once were and so up and close hand gestures and/or smells have been our most successful methods of communication lately. If it weren’t for recent issues with our living arrangements (and landlord), we’d never consider parting ways with him, but this was our next best option to avoid him being scared in a shelter. He’s too good of a boy for that.

Her people divorced and neither took Luna, so she lived with Grandmother. Breed restrictions prohibited Luna from staying with Grandmother, so here she is... ready for a new beginning in a forever home.
