Costello is a 4-month-old, 20-pound Chow Chow puppy who’s equal parts adorable fluff and sweet, gentle spirit. He LOVES people and is wonderful with other dogs — playful, friendly, and happy to make new friends wherever he goes. Like all Chow Chows, Costello will thrive with an adopter who understands the breed’s unique traits and is committed to continued socialization, confidence building, and positive experiences as he grows. He’s still a baby, so he’ll need guidance with house training and learning how to walk politely on a leash, but he’s eager to learn and so easy to fall in love with. If you’re ready to invest in a smart, stunning pup who will be loyal for life, Costello just might be your perfect match! Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until his puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, he may chew on anything within his reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. His adoption fee is $350. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
