Story
Meet Rocky—the tiniest little shadow with a talent for making everyone fall in love. 💕 Rocky came to us as a stray, so we’re estimating he’s about 8 years old. At just 12 pounds, this little guy doesn’t take up much space, but he’s already claimed a whole lot of hearts. Everyone who meets him is immediately smitten. Rocky is learning how sweet life can be when you get to be someone’s beloved dog. He doesn’t seem used to being allowed on furniture, so he’s figuring out how to use the steps to the couch and discovering that he’s welcome to join his people. At bedtime, he’ll stand up to let you know he’d like an invitation for nighttime snuggles. How could you possibly say no to that? He’s a little shadow who likes to stay close. Rocky is kennel trained, but he’d much rather sleep near you. He’s also neutered, housetrained, and knows how to use a doggy door, though he does occasionally mark. Now, a little warning: Rocky is a catfish. 😂 His photos don’t really capture what he looks like in person, so you’ll need to meet him to fully appreciate this tiny heart-stealer. Consider his pictures a sneak peek with questionable accuracy. Rocky is ready for a family who will help him keep discovering the good stuff: a cozy couch, a spot near you at bedtime, and a home where he knows he belongs. 🐾

**Meet Edward, your future shadow and full-time snuggle buddy! 🖤** At approximately **7 years old**, Edward has a distinguished silver face, a playful spirit, and a whole lot of love to give. His favorite place is right beside his person—preferably touching—with sweet little kisses thrown in for good measure. Edward enjoys walks, outdoor exploring, and zoomies with his foster dog friend. Once he’s finished getting his steps in, he’s equally happy to head inside and settle down for snuggles. He’s still figuring out what toys are all about, but he already knows that breakfast and dinner deserve an enthusiastic announcement! This handsome boy **walks well on a leash, sleeps through the night in his crate, and is potty trained**. He marked a couple of times when he first arrived in foster care but hasn’t continued. He listens well and benefits from a consistent routine. Edward enjoys other dogs, but he likes having plenty of human attention to himself. His ideal home would have **one dog sibling or let him shine as the only pup**, with people who are around much of the day. He can get a little jealous when his foster gives the other dogs affection, so a smaller pack would suit him best. He has shown curiosity toward his foster’s cat without aggression; his comfort with children is unknown. A yard would be a bonus, but Edward could do well in a variety of homes with regular walks and outdoor breaks. His foster recommends someone familiar with pugs or other flat-faced breeds, who appreciates a devoted companion and won’t regularly leave him alone for long hours. Edward is ready to fill someone’s days with little kisses, happy walks, and the sweetest snuggles.

Story
Rosie is about 5 years old and a sweetheart with the cutest face, beautiful wrinkles, and a playful personality that’s blossoming as she gains confidence. She’s becoming more comfortable in her foster home and has even started snuggling—a sweet glimpse of the affectionate girl behind her shy beginnings! Rosie can still be timid around new adults and may startle at loud noises or sudden movements. She’s more hesitant around some men, but she has also done well with men in another foster home. A little patience and the freedom to approach on her own help her feel safe and build trust. One thing that really brings Rosie out of her shell is children! She loves playing with them and following along with their fun. After seeing how well she’s done with kids in another foster home, we think she could do well with children of any age, with gentle interactions and supervision to help everyone feel comfortable. Rosie has also gotten along well with dogs and cats! She enjoys chewing on toys, watching the activity around her, and joining in when she feels ready. Having friendly animal companions could be a lovely addition to her forever home. She’s working on potty training and does well with regular trips outside, though she’s still having accidents. Rosie is also learning to walk on a leash and does best when she can explore at her own pace. She sleeps through the night in her kennel, although she may whine a little before settling down. Rosie would love a patient family who will offer her a predictable routine, gentle encouragement, and time to settle in. She’s already showing how much love and personality she has to share, and we can’t wait to see her continue to blossom in a home of her own. Could Rosie be the little flower your family is missing?
