Looks like: Chihuahua mix Male, 10 years old (estimated), 8 pounds A tasty treat doesn't get much better than an onion ring! Our boy Onion Ring is full of pep, loves exploring, and is always ready to greet you with a wagging tail or trot alongside you for a stroll. He's the perfect blend of playful and easygoing, happy to join in on the fun before settling in for some well-earned cuddle time. Onion Ring is a social little guy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely adores people. Whether he's making new friends on a walk or curling up beside you on the couch, he's happiest when he's part of the action. His foster reports "Onion Ring is so cute. He is friendly, cuddly, good with other dogs and cats. He likes to sleep on the bed day or night, especially near his "person." Gives the big hello. House trained. He doesn't have any teeth." Onion Ring joined us from Hollister Animal Services where he was found as a stray.

Story
Looks like: Pug Male, 3 years old (estimated), 22 pounds Don't let his blindness fool you! Biggie sees the world through his heart, and what he sees is LOVE. Biggie is a sweet Pug with a gentle soul and a big personality. Despite being blind, he navigates life with the help of his other senses and, of course, his favorite humans! This little guy is incredibly affectionate, fantastic with children, and great with other dogs. He's calm, cuddly, and happiest when he's near his people. Biggie would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day. He's a true companion dog who wants nothing more than to be by your side (or in your lap!). Whether it's naptime, playtime, or just being your shadow around the house, Biggie is all in. He's got so much love to give and is looking for a family who will cherish his unique needs and bottomless heart. If you're ready to welcome a sweet, special boy into your life, Biggie is ready to love you forever. This adorable, resilient guy joined us after his senior guardian could no longer care for him. He had some skin issues that needed care, but he's on track to have the most beautiful Pug fur soon!

Story
Looks like: Chihuahua mix Male, 3 months old, 4 pounds What happens when you mix Mayo and Relish? You get Tartar Sauce! Tartar Sauce and his siblings surprised the POMDR family in July, and he's the last of the bunch waiting for a family! Tartar Sauce is a sweet, smart pup. He picks up on stuff quickly, so be prepared to stay ahead of this guy as he learns to navigate the world. Much like his siblings, he is extremely loving, but he is the gentle one, preferring to be with calm dogs and minimizing rough playtime. With older dogs, he has been nothing but kind. He would do best in an adult only household. When confused, he gives a cute head-tilt sure to melt your heart. Tartar Sauce prefers not to be handled too much by new people, but once he gets to know you, he is your faithful companion. He would do best in a quiet and patient household, where he is slowly introduced to the many new sights, sounds, and smells in the world. Like any other puppy, he is in an important developmental period. Adopters should be ready to get him training to help with his socialization and development, especially because he has shown a timid side. He's not a 'take anywhere' type of dog, but if you are looking for a dog to bond with through training, look no further! Could Tartar Sauce be your secret ingredient? How did Tartar come to find himself with a senior dog rescue you may ask? His senior mom was brought into our rescue from a partner shelter. Unknown to everyone, she was heavily pregnant. She gave birth just days after her arrival with us, and Tartar was one of these little ones. We'd love to find him the perfect home that can meet his needs and where he can shine.
