Story
Meet Katie B! This adorable girl has already come such a long way and continues to make progress every single day. While she may be shy at first, underneath that timid exterior is a sweet dog who truly wants to please and is learning how wonderful life with people can be. Katie B settles down nicely in her kennel or will quietly find a cozy place to relax. She is still learning how to walk on a leash and doesn’t fully understand commands yet, but her house manners are coming along very well. She’s the kind of dog who learns best with patience, consistency, and gentle encouragement. Katie B gets along well with other dogs and has shown no negative reactions to cats. Children should be fine for her as long as they understand to give her space and allow her to come to them on her own terms. She can be nervous about cuddling at first, but she has made incredible progress. Once she settles onto your lap, she relaxes and truly enjoys attention and gentle petting. She does tend to “start over” with new people and needs a little time to feel safe again, but she warms up faster as her confidence grows. Right now, Katie B is still learning how to play and discover what it means to simply be a dog. Watching her progress has been incredibly rewarding, and her little victories make her even more special. She came to us on the higher end of the semi-feral scale, but with patience and love she has already made tremendous strides and is now much more comfortable with people. Katie B will thrive in a calm, low-energy home with a patient, dog-savvy family willing to continue helping her build confidence. The family lucky enough to earn her trust will gain an incredibly rewarding companion and watch a beautiful transformation unfold.

Story
Annie is a big, lovable goofball with a whole lot of personality and an even bigger heart. She’s absolutely crazy about toys, treats, and food, just don’t expect her to want to share her favorites, because she likes to keep them all to herself! One of her cutest quirks is her love of fetching toys and proudly carrying them back to her bed, where she builds her very own “treasure pile.” She’s playful, energetic, and always on the move, often acting like she’s playing hard to get, but really, she’s just full of fun and enthusiasm. Annie enjoys attention and absolutely melts for head and ear scratches once she slows down. She also has a big, joyful smile that’s impossible not to fall in love with. She generally keeps her space clean when she has consistent access outside, though occasional accidents can happen if she can’t get out quickly enough. Annie does well with other dogs, but she should be fed separately as she can be protective of her food around other dogs. All in all, Annie is a funny, affectionate girl with a silly personality and a lot of love to give. She’s ready to make someone very lucky incredibly happy.

Story
Meet Roxy! ❤️ Roxy is a sweet and slightly shy little girl who is sure to steal your heart. She loves toys, treats, and canned food (though she'll happily munch on kibble too!). One of her favorite things is being carried around so she can shower you with kisses; the more, the better! Roxy is doing great with her potty training and has had very few accidents in her crate. With a consistent routine and a little patience, she'll have it mastered in no time. When meeting new people, Roxy may be a bit bashful at first. She has playful habits and will make for a great companion. With her stunning tricolor coat, soulful brown eyes, and affectionate personality, Roxy is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She’s ready to find a family to love her forever!
