Do you love senior dogs? Do you have a BIG heart for the dogs who are the hardest for us rescuers to adopt out? Petey is your boy! At 14 + years old, Petey has a heart of gold. He's quiet and never barks, except at dinner time. LOL He loves food and treats. He is housetrained, goes out, does his business quickly, and then comes right back in. He's very gentle and sweet with other dogs and people. He recently had a full dental and senior bloodwork. He's in good health. Visit our event page (https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/) to see which one—event listings are usually updated on Fridays with attending dogs. Buddy is a cheerful Cocker Spaniel mix with good looks (obviously) and a whole lot of personality! He’s a total sweetheart who's curious yet neutral and confident with the world around him. Buddy has two modes: impressively well-behaved… and joyful agent of chaos. In his energetic moments, he loves playfully bouncing and happily running around — all in good fun. He’s gentle at heart and clearly eager to engage, despite being excited to be apart of all the fun! Buddy will thrive in a home that can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and patience for his enthusiastic bursts of energy. With structure, outlets for play, and lots of love, he’ll be a fantastic companion.
