Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi… I’m Ned. Have you ever wanted a Golden Doodle, but smaller? I look just that! Please read my bio thoroughly. Only available for adoption in Texas. I’m a quiet, gentle guy with a really soft heart. I came here with a few of my companions through a transfer, and I’ll be honest—I’m still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. I haven’t always had that, so it takes me a little time to trust new people. At first, I might hang back and just watch. I need someone very patient who will let me go at my own pace and not rush me. I need someone who can understand it may take a long time for me to become comfortable around humans, as I have had a rough beginning to life. I will try to run away from you. But I am not aggressive, or have ever tried to bite.  With me being scared, I need you to understand that I will need patience with going outside. I will try to run away, so keep me on a harness until I learn coming back inside on my own is okay. I do feel more confident around other dogs, so a home with another canine is a must. They can help show me that life isn't so bad. I am unsure how I do with cats. Older considerate kids only.  Due to my breed, I’ll also need regular grooming, but I’ve been very good for it here. Each time I will even relax in someone’s lap while they are taking care of me… I think that shows I do want to trust—I just need a little time to get there. I do want to be upfront about my health—I’m heartworm positive right now, but I’ve already started treatment. I’ve been on antibiotics and am going through the ProHeart 12 protocol approved by the American Heartworm Society. The good news is that with this treatment, I should test negative in about 8–10 months. I’m neutered, up to date on all my vaccines and prevention, and microchipped, so I’m ready when the right person comes along. My adoption fee is $400. If you think you might be my person, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org. Due to me being scared and nervous, I am not an option for out-of-state transport, and must remain in Texas. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 12, 2026, 9:30 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Dawson!  I was picked up with my family by a few good people who found us on the highway. They brought us to rescue, where I have been looking for my forever home.  I’m a friendly, happy boy who loves everyone I meet — dogs included! I get so excited to see my people that sometimes I bounce up to say hello, but it’s only because I’m so excited to be loved. I’ve got a sweet personality, a goofy side, and I’m always ready to make new friends. Even though I get excited, I have a sweet nature and just want to be close to my people. Going into a new home, I will need some minor training on showing me how to be potty trained. I like toys, playing with the other dogs in my run, and meeting new people.  Due to my breed, I will need regular brushing and grooming. My adoption fee is $400. I am neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, 4dx negative and current on proheart 12 and bravecto. I’m currently in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Unfortunately, I can’t travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts because of state regulations. If you think we might be a perfect match, please apply at www.adoggie4you.org.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 12, 2026, 9:30 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Sadie. I came into rescue with a group of dogs, including my two nursing puppies, after our owner was cited by the city for having too many dogs. Life hadn’t been very easy for me — I arrived severely matted and covered in fleas and ticks — but through it all, I never stopped being sweet. Everyone who meets me talks about how calm and gentle I am. I have a mellow personality, enjoy lap time, and get along well with other dogs. I’m a quiet girl who doesn’t bark much, and I seem to already know the basics of potty training. More than anything, I just want a peaceful home where I can finally relax and be loved the way every dog deserves. I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. My adoption fee is $400. Due to my breed, I will need regular grooming.  I’m in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee.
