This sweet and energetic poodle mix is ready to find her next place to call her own. 🏃‍♀️‍➡️ Layla is a very active girl and is seeking an adoptive home where she can have lots of outside time, lots of walks, and lots of enrichment 🐶🐱 Layla is seeking a home where she can be the only animal. She does best being the center of your attention 👥 Layla is also seeking a home with teens and up or an adult only home 🧁 Layla is pretty protective of her food and is going to need a safe space where she can eat peacefully and alone. An adoption counselor will speak to you more about this if you are interested in adopting Miss Layla. Layla would love to meet you and, hopefully, come home with you soon! Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You’ll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter. (Dogs in foster care are available to meet by appointment.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you’re ready to adopt without meeting the dog first, or you’d like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a dog for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org. We are often helping other clients when you call, but we return voicemails and emails within 24 hours. **Holds are not available for puppies under six months, on Saturdays, or during adoption events.
