Story
Are you looking for a devoted companion who will brighten your days with a wagging nub? Let us introduce you to Poshey, a charming senior Cocker Spaniel who still has plenty of love—and fetch—left in her! Like a lot of humans, and with good reason, Poshey has some trust issues. If you give her a few weeks to show her that she can trust you though, she can become your devoted shadow. She needs an adopter willing to accept her for who she is, quirks and all, not someone trying to push her comfort levels. While she is a senior, Poshey acts much younger, especially when there is a plush toy or a leash walk involved! Need a sous chef in the kitchen? Poshey will stay close to the drop zone, ever at your heels, in the event you drop a morsel of something she finds palatable. Poshey has had a comprehensive medical "makeover" to ensure she is comfortable, including a dental with multiple extractions and successful bladder stone removal. She also had cherry eye surgery. She is now feeling much better, though she requires a loving home that will keep up with her necessary care. She will let you wipe her eye boogies and apply ointment or administer drops. Though she is a Spaniel, Poshey doesn't understand the necessities essential for her luxurious double coat—she hates grooming! Brushing and grooming sessions are scary and very stressful for her. She will need an adopter who is patient and understanding with her aversion to being groomed and who is comfortable taking her to a professional groomer who specializes in handling "challenging" seniors. Poshey requires a calm, patient, adult-only home. She deserves a stable environment to thrive in. Poshey would love a home with a secure yard, as nothing quite tops rolling around in the grass. Poshey is house trained and crate trained. She is trustworthy to roam free in the house. She coexists beautifully but does not engage with the other dogs in her foster home. If you are looking for a sweet, slightly salty, but entirely devoted senior girl to take on walks and play fetch with, Poshey is your match! Poshey has been through a lot recently and is ready to put her past behind her and enjoy her golden years.

Story
Bentley is an adorable and lovable 6 year old Yorkie Poodle mix with the sweetest personality you could ask for. He enjoys spending his days snoozing in a fluffy bed and soaking up as much lap time as possible. Bentley also loves toys and will happily play fetch in his own special way by scooting back and forth to chase them. Everyone who meets him instantly falls in love with what a gentle, affectionate little guy he is. When it is time for an adventure, Bentley absolutely loves getting outside. Walks in his wheelchair are one of his favorite activities, and he enjoys taking in all the sights and smells the world has to offer. Bentley does well with dogs, cats, and children, and his easygoing nature makes him a wonderful companion. Bentley is incontinent and paralyzed in his hind end due to IVDD. Because of this, he is unable to go potty on his own and wears diapers that need to be changed and cleaned several times throughout the day. He is incredibly patient during his care and will scoot right over when it is time for a diaper change, calmly waiting while he is cleaned and changed. His routine is very predictable. Bentley typically has bowel movements after meals, during the night, and sometimes when he gets excited to greet a new friend. His stools are healthy and solid, which makes clean up simple. At night he enjoys sleeping in bed with his person while wearing a diaper and a little outfit to keep everything secure, though he is also perfectly happy sleeping in a cozy bed on the floor. Bentley’s paralysis is very manageable. He happily scoots around the house to get where he needs to go and enjoys spending time in his wheelchair for exercise and fresh air. Most of all, Bentley just wants to be close to his people. He is a loving, resilient little dog who will bring so much joy to the home lucky enough to welcome him. ##2674641##
