Story
Meet a truly wonderful, picture-perfect companion! This beautiful pup is as sweet and loving as he looks. He is house trained and has NEVER had an accident in the house. He understands household routines and handles his crate time like a total professional. He loves to play and has the habit of proudly bringing his favorite toys right to you to initiate a game. He knows commands like: sit, stay, crate, fetch, quiet and leave it(most of the time). He is freshly groomed and will not need another groom for another month. While he is fantastic with humans and dogs, he does not do well with cats. He likes to chase and bark at our cats.He will come with a lot of supplies like crate, toys, leash and harness, treats, food, bowls, shampoos and sprays, etc.

Story
Chestnut is a 12+ year old male cocker spaniel whose life story could have made him bitter… but instead, it made him even sweeter.   This gentle senior was once someone’s devoted companion, the kind of dog who quietly follows you from room to room just to be near. Tragically, he was found abandoned on a busy road with a painful, eye injury, and struck by a car. Despite everything he has endured, Chestnut greets the world with softness, trust, and a tail that still wants to wag.   His damaged eye has been removed, and he’s recovering beautifully after hip surgery. When he was found, his coat was painfully matted to the skin and he had to be shaved down. The good news? His soft, beautiful fur will grow back, and each day he grows stronger and more comfortable.   What hasn’t changed is his spirit.   Chestnut is calm, affectionate, and very gentle. He loves cozy dog beds, soft voices, and simply being near his humans. He’s past the hustle and bustle of youth and is ready for the quiet joys of senior life: sunny naps, slow strolls, and resting his head on a loving lap. He doesn’t ask for much - just safety, patience, and a loving home where he can finally exhale.   Chestnut is good with other quiet dogs that allow him space as he prefers to keep to himself. He is good with cats. Due to his age and injury a home without young children is preferred. Chestnut is crate/pen trained and keeps it clean. When his beautiful coat grows in he will require regular professional grooming to keep him free of matting and his paws from slipping on the floor.    If you are ready to give a deserving old soul the comfort he’s always given to others, Chestnut is waiting to glow quietly beside you for the rest of his golden years. Story
Meet Lenore Dove!   Lenore is an adorable Labradoodle puppy, estimated to be around 6 months old, with a sweet, playful personality. She came to us severely matted and underweight after being found abandoned, but despite her rough start, she’s full of love and curiosity.   She may be a little shy at first, but a few treats and a little patience quickly win her over. Once she trusts you, she’s an affectionate, playful puppy who loves to explore and be close to her people.   Lenore is ready to leave her past behind and find a forever family that will give her the love, patience, and fun-filled life she deserves.   All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
