Story
Coco has a quiet, tender heart and a story that makes you want to hold her a little closer. After her beloved owner passed away, she and her sister suddenly found themselves without the home they knew. Through no fault of their own, their world changed overnight.
She is a shy little girl at first, the kind who watches and waits, trying to understand if she’s safe again. But the moment you scoop her up, everything changes. Coco melts into you, completely trusting, as if she’s been waiting for that feeling of comfort to return. In your arms, she lets her guard down and shows just how loving she truly is.
With her soft, silky coat and soulful eyes, Coco is as beautiful on the outside as she is gentle on the inside. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children, finding comfort in companionship and calm environments. She has already started working on housebreaking and is eager to please.
Coco doesn’t need much—just patience, kindness, and someone who will reassure her that she is home for good. In return, she will give you a quiet, devoted kind of love that only a dog like her can offer.

Spay/Neuter PolicyAny animal that has not been spayed or neutered at the time of adoption will require a signed Spay/Neuter Agreement and a refundable $100 deposit (payable by check or electronic payment). The procedure must be completed within six (6) months of the adoption date. Once Best Paws Rescue receives acceptable proof of the spay/neuter procedure, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter.Failure to comply with the terms of the Spay/Neuter Agreement within the required six (6) months will result in forfeiture of the deposit. If the procedure is performed by one of Best Paws Rescue’s approved veterinary partners, the full cost of the spay/neuter is covered by the adoption fee.
Ages and breeds are our best estimates, and we cannot make any guarantees. Most of our animals come from overcrowded shelters with limited resources. We do our best to evaluate each animal’s behavior and medical needs and place them into loving foster homes until they are ready to go home with you. Our organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.
