Story
Meet Bruno: The Long-Legged Goofball Looking for His Adventure Buddy 💙 Some dogs are born knowing exactly how to be dogs. Bruno? He's discovering it one joyful zoomie at a time—and it's absolutely adorable. This handsome 3-year-old Spaniel/Mini Poodle mix arrived as a stray after no one came to claim him. While we don't know much about his past, it's clear he may have missed out on some of the simple joys of being a carefree pup. Watching Bruno learn, grow, and gain confidence has been one of the sweetest transformations. Now he's making up for lost time with every game of chase, every cuddle session, and every new adventure. The Bruno Experience Bruno lives life with two equally important priorities: 🏃 Run like the wind. 🥰 Snuggle like it's an Olympic sport. One minute he's happily racing around the yard with his dog friends, chasing and being chased with his long, lanky legs flying everywhere. The next? He's climbing into your lap, convinced that's exactly where he belongs. His motto seems to be: "Play hard. Cuddle harder." Personality Highlights Bruno is: Playful and energetic Sweet and incredibly affectionate Smart and eager to learn Friendly with just about everyone he meets Equal parts adventure buddy and professional lap dog He's the kind of dog who makes every day a little more fun. A Social Butterfly Bruno genuinely loves other dogs. If they want to play, he's all in. If they'd rather relax, he's perfectly happy to move along and find another friend. His favorite game? Chase! Whether he's doing the chasing or being chased, he's having the time of his life. He's also: Great with adults Good with children, though like many young dogs he's still learning that hands aren't toys and can get a little mouthy when excited Potentially cat-friendly with proper introductions Happy meeting new people and taking life as it comes Still Figuring Things Out One of the most endearing things about Bruno is that he sometimes seems like a puppy trapped in an adult dog's body. When he first arrived, his coordination was surprisingly awkward—as if he hadn't had many opportunities to simply run and play. Now he's gaining confidence every day, though he can still be delightfully clumsy and occasionally forget exactly where all four feet are supposed to go. He's also discovering what belongs in his mouth...and what definitely doesn't. Fortunately, he's smart and redirects easily to appropriate chew toys. Bruno already knows (or is quickly mastering): Sit Come Leave it He's eager to learn and absolutely thrives with positive guidance. Bruno's Dream Home Bruno would love a family that enjoys an active lifestyle balanced with plenty of downtime. He'd happily join you for: Daily walks Weekend hikes Backyard games Learning to fetch a ball or Frisbee Cozy evenings on the couch Another playful dog would be a bonus, but it's certainly not required. More than anything, Bruno wants people who have the time to continue showing him just how wonderful life can be. Bruno's Fun Facts 💙 Signature color: Sky Blue 🎀 Favorite accessory: A dapper bow tie that perfectly complements his tuxedo-worthy style 🎵 Walkout song: Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars (obviously) ☀️ Favorite season: Summer—because every day should include sunshine, zoomies, and long walks 🏆 Hidden talent: Looking impossibly elegant while accidentally tripping over his own long legs. Snuggle Forecast By day: enthusiastic explorer, professional zoomie specialist, and enthusiastic playmate. By night: affectionate cuddle bug hoping you'll consider sharing your bed. The Bottom Line Bruno is one of those dogs who reminds you that happiness is contagious. He's goofy without being wild, affectionate without being needy, active without being overwhelming, and always ready for whatever adventure comes next—as long as he gets a few cuddles along the way. His forever family will be rewarded with a loyal companion who is eager to learn, quick to love, and ready to fill your home with laughter, fun, and plenty of lap time. If you're looking for a playful best friend with a heart of gold, long legs made for adventures, and endless snuggles to give... Bruno can't wait to meet you.
