Meet Levi There's no shortage of personality in this little guy! Levi, also known as Leroy (which means "King"), is approximately 1 year old and a healthy 20 lb. We're guessing he may be a Cocker Spaniel/Shih Tzu mix. Levi is a fun-loving, happy guy who wants to be right in the middle of whatever is happening. He loves attention, loves to be watched while he entertains himself, and is highly food motivated. If he hears a bag, he's pretty sure dinner is being served! He loves playing with other dogs and has done well with small and medium-sized dogs. We think he'd enjoy a home with another playful dog who too would enjoy having a buddy. Levi is still learning his manners and can jump up quite forcefully and become mouthy, especially when excited or frustrated. He needs a patient, confident adopter who will provide consistent boundaries, structure and continued training. Because his play can get rough, a home without young children would be best. He is housetrained and has learned to sit by the sliding door when he needs to go out. He also does well in his kennel, with a few minutes of whining before settling down to entertain himself or have a nap. He travels beautifully in the car, too! Levi walks nicely on leash, although he can show some frustration or uncertainty when out and about. Continued training and confidence-building will help him feel more comfortable. He has plenty of energy for playtime, loves chews and toys, and is also a champion napper. Once he's ready to relax, he's a sweet little snuggle buddy who loves curling up beside you on the couch. Levi is looking for a home that will enjoy his silly, affectionate personality while helping him grow into a well-mannered little companion.
