Story
PLEASE READ ENTIRE BIO BEFORE APPLYING: Benny is a 10 month old Cockapoo who is searching for a kind and loving family to treat him with nothing but kindness and respect. Benny will need a home with no children and ideally one to two adults. Benny has some nerves with body handling. It is important that his owners understand dog body language and be able to respect his boundaries surrounding touch. Benny is an energetic and boisterous puppy! He may be small, but his little legs run a mile a minute. A large yard with extra room to run would be great. Benny would do well with someone who enjoyed hiking or possibly getting into agility! Benny is ready for a fur-ever home ♥ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 8.4 Age: 0yrs 10mths 3wks

Story
Meet Landon — Our Gentle Little Old Man Landon is a senior sweetheart, estimated to be 10 years old or possibly olde. Despite being both blind and deaf, this remarkable gentleman is incredibly adaptable and moves through the world with quiet resilience and charm. Landon is wonderful with other dogs and good with cats. Because he can't see and gets very excited about food and treats, he may unknowingly nip at hands, so he needs a home with no children. Walks are one of Landon's biggest joys. He takes short, slow "sloth-paced" strolls, stopping often to sniff the world around him. His nose is his guide, so we're enriching his days with scent-based activities and food-finding games, which he absolutely loves. Landon's favorite pastime? Naps. This sweet boy will happily snooze the afternoon away, often choosing his crate on his own. He's fully crate-trained and finds comfort in the routine. Every now and then, you'll catch Landon gently nibbling on a toy—an adorable reminder that even after hardship, he still finds joy in the simple things. He loves everyone he meets and just wants to be loved right back. Landon deserves a quiet, peaceful home where he can finally experience the safety, comfort, and devotion he's been missing. If you have room in your heart for an incredibly sweet, gentle senior, Landon would love to spend the rest of his life with you. 🐾💛

Story
Howdy, I'm WILLY (Billy) and I was designed to be your perfect Spaniel companion: ready for adventuring, followed by lovey-dovey snuggles! Here is a bit about me: Breed: Cocker Spaniel Age: 5 yrs Gender: Male Weight: 19 kg/42lbs Height: 47 cm Current Location: Republic of Georgia Energy level:  Moderate I get along with: Dogs but cats and kids are unknown Fears: None observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition. Training: Leash: No Housetrained: Yes Health Notes: i have 6 permanent titanium screws in my leg above & below elbow. I am unable to bend at my elbow joint. I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, as well as rabies titer-tested. Adoption fee: $700.00 CAD plus tax. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Highlights: Determined, loyal, happy, curious, playful, fearless, sociable, affectionate. Urgent! I need a safe, forever home in Canada where I am showered with attention because my rescue team also needs to find their own safe home outside of ROG and can't keep me much longer.  About Me - I'm a super affectionate Spaniel, a true cuddly buggly! Loving to be held, kissed, and showered with attention is my number one priority. Typically happy, curious, and playful, sociable with both dogs and humans. A tendency to bond tightly means situational anxiety can surface when the trusted human leaves. That's when this little guy deploys a hoarse, persistent bark. Training and calming chews manage this beautifully, so no worries! Expect determination, fearlessness, and deep loyalty, no sneaking up on the family with this devoted shadow around!Fussiness is never an issue; enjoying a soft bed and any kind of food is fine. UPDATE OCT 2025: I am starting to put weight on my weaker leg now. Still running on 3 though. Bit at a time rehab. Please see my new videos:  https://youtube.com/shorts/RVG1DsCGjtE   https://youtube.com/shorts/4Lh7Zk5WzHY My story - The rescue journey was rough: limping, shivering, and begging for food. An old injury to the front right leg (likely hit by a car) required major surgery and six permanent titanium screws. Rebuilding strength with daily supplements is currently underway. Though the elbow will never bend, living a normal life is totally achievable.  Hope the perfect human is ready for an especially sweet guy like this! Health Notes: i have 6 permanent titanium screws in my leg above & below elbow. I am unable to bend at my elbow joint.I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, as well as rabies titer-tested.My adoption fee is $700.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems. Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. ##2455779##
