Story
Online Adoption Application Hi I am Bailey. I am 3 years old and a very loving sweet boy. I was given up by my owners due to them moving and have a small child to care for.  I am a special boy who has a problem with my back left leg. I had an injury but I can walk and get around. My previous owner knew I needed a special rescue to help me choose the right home for me that is why they chose the Cocker Rescue of Florida who has been around for over 25 years   We are taking applications now to see what home will be best for meOctober 3, 2025, 5:44 am

Story
Meet Ben! Ben is a 9-10 year old Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix. Such a good boy! He came into rescue when his family could no longer care for him, and it was clear that he had been neglected for a while. He is now thriving in his foster home and has turned into a really happy boy. Ben came in to us at 42.7 pounds and is now down to 35 pounds and has another 8-9 pounds to lose. He is generally low maintenance/low energy. Housebroken (is used to a doggie door). Good with other dogs and kids. Sweet and calm. Rarely barks. Already fixed and we have brought him up to date on vaccines and testing and done a full dental. Ben does have some minor medical issues, some acute, some chronic: Partial hearing loss, hypothyroidism (which requires daily medication costing approximately $5/month), and some bronchial issues. Applications for Ben are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions. We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes. November 12, 2025, 9:11 pm
