Hi ya! I’m Prince and I’m a 1-year-old brown and white freckled cocker spaniel boy, and if you’re looking at my photos thinking “wow, he’s adorable” – you’re absolutely right! I’m looking for a new home where my humans are around more often and can give me all the time and attention a prince deserves (it’s in my name, after all!). I’m a happy, friendly puppy who loves adults, kids, and other dogs. Cats? Haven’t met one yet, so that’s still TBD! I’m housebroken but might need a quick refresher in my new palace – you know, learning the lay of the land. I’m working on my crate training and crushing it, but leash walking? Yeah, I could use some help with that. Right now I’m more of a “let’s go THIS way!” kind of walker. Full disclosure: I’m ALL puppy, ALL the time! I love to play, I’ve got energy for days, and I’m basically a bundle of joy wrapped in freckles. The only time I’m not happy? When my humans leave. I get a little sad (okay, I bark) because I miss you already! I’m learning to be brave when left alone, but honestly, a good puppy training class would be perfect for us to bond AND help me become the well-mannered prince I’m meant to be! I need an active family who’s home often and ready for puppy shenanigans mixed with lots of love. Think you can handle this much cuteness? Hello, FCCR friends! My name is Megan and I’m here to tell you about me and my sister Mia – we’re a bonded pair of cocker spaniel littermates looking for our forever home together! Mia and I are 6-year-old cocker spaniel girls who each weigh about 30 pounds, and we’ve been inseparable since birth! We had the same loving owner our whole lives, but sadly she could no longer care for us. It was such a heartbreaking and tearful goodbye, but FCCR promised her and us that they would find a wonderful new home where we’ll be loved and cherished just like before. We know our perfect family is out there! So, what are we like? We’re both very docile and sweet – think gentle cuddle bugs who just want to make you happy! We get along great with other laid-back dogs and we love kids. Cats? Well, it depends on the cat’s personality! Sometimes we’re totally fine with them, but other times our inner spaniel takes over and we bark and want to chase. A confident, chill cat would probably work out fine, but a nervous kitty might find us a bit much. We’re housebroken ladies with good house manners, and we’re working on improving our leash walking skills – we’re getting better every day and need our new family to continue our training! We are also great in the car and love an adventure! Now, full transparency about our grooming needs: like many cockers, we both have sensitive skin and allergies. Mia recently had an ear infection (those floppy ears!), so we need regular ear cleanings to stay healthy. We eat prescription food and use a medicated shampoo to keep the itchies away. But honestly? We’re total champs about all of it! We know these things help us feel fabulous. Here’s where we get FUN: we are OBSESSED with chasing chameleons! Seriously, it’s our absolute favorite pastime. We also discovered our neighbor had a flirt pole (it’s like a giant cat toy for dogs – a long pole with a lure on the end that you can whip around for us to chase), and we went CRAZY for it! We’d probably love chasing and retrieving balls too – anything that moves, really! We’re playful, active girls who love a good game. We’re a package deal because sisters stick together, and we’re ready to bring double the love, double the fun, and double the cocker spaniel charm to your home! Hello, everybody! My name is Daffodil (sometimes people call me Daffy) and I’m a gorgeous buff American cocker spaniel girl with a big smile. I’m 4.5 years old and a dainty 15lbs of sweetness. I’m retiring from breeding and ready to discover what it means to be a cherished family pet! I’m a gentle, affectionate girl with a lot of love to give! I get along wonderfully with other dogs and may do well with older children who understand how to be gentle with dogs. Cats are still a mystery to me – I have seen them from a distance but we haven’t been properly introduced yet! I previously lived indoors so I know a little about house manners. I’ll need your guidance and patience as I figure out house manners again (and become housebroken) and how to walk nicely on a leash. With consistency and kindness, I’m confident I can blossom into the wonderful companion I was meant to be! I’m ready and willing to learn everything you’ll teach me and I would love to training classes together. I know there are lots of fun doggie skills to learn.
