🐾💙 Hi, I’m Chance! 🐶🦴❤️
I’m an 8-year, 9-month-old Cocker Spaniel with a heart full of love, a tail that never stops wagging, and enough kisses to go around! 🥹💕 I may be a little older, but don’t let my age fool you. I’ve still got plenty of energy, personality, and love to give!
My favorite place in the entire world? Right by your side! ❤️ I’m an incredibly loyal boy who loves spending time with his people. Whether we’re enjoying some fresh air outside, playing with my favorite toys, or snuggling up together in bed, I’m happiest just being part of the family.
Now, there are two things you should know about me: I LOVE toys, and I REALLY love food! 🦴🍖 Seriously, if there’s a toy to play with or a tasty treat nearby, you’ve got my full attention! I’m a happy, confident guy who makes sure everyone knows how much I appreciate them through enthusiastic tail wags and plenty of kisses.
I’m already potty trained, walk nicely on a leash, and know commands like sit, down, and stay! I'm still working on a few of my manners, especially when delicious food is involved. Sometimes I get a little vocal around mealtime or try to investigate what's on the counter. I can also get a little too playful with blankets or other dogs, but I respond well to redirection. With a patient family and some consistency, I'll keep learning! 🐾💙
🏡 My ideal forever home:
* 👨👩👧👦 A loving family, especially one with children! I'm comfortable with kids of all ages.
* 🐶 A home with other dogs, big or small, would be wonderful, but I'd also be happy soaking up all the love as your only pup.
* 🐱 Feline friends are welcome, too! I do well with cats and kittens.
* 🌳 A backyard where I can enjoy the fresh air would be amazing, but I'm also happy with regular walks.
* 🧸 TOYS! Lots and lots of toys are an absolute must!
* ❤️ A family who will include me in everyday life, give me plenty of affection, and help me continue practicing my manners.

I also want to share something important about me: I'm heartworm positive. But please don't let that discourage you from giving me a chance! 💙
Heartworm disease is treatable, and with the proper care, I have so much to look forward to! The best part? The shelter will take care of all my heartworm treatment, even after I'm adopted! 🥹❤️
All I need is a loving family willing to support me through my treatment, follow my veterinary team's instructions, and give me a safe, comfortable place to recover.
My diagnosis doesn't define me, and it certainly doesn't change how much love I have to give. 🐶💕

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
