Story
🐾💕 HI, I’M MILO! 💕🐾 I’m Milo, a handsome 4-year-old Cocker Spaniel, and I have an important announcement to make… ✨ I’M READY TO BE YOUR GUY. ✨ I’m the kind of boy who likes life a little slower and a whole lot sweeter. I’m HOUSEBROKEN (you’re welcome 😉), and I really enjoy hanging out with chill, respectful dog friends. I’m not exactly the party animal of the dog world… I’m more of a “comfy couch, good company, and let’s just vibe” kind of guy. 🛋️🐶 I can be a little shy when I first meet you. I’m not going to run up and immediately demand belly rubs like some of these attention-seeking dogs around here. 😂 I like to take my time, get to know you, and then—once you’re MY people—I LOVE MY PEOPLE. ❤️ I haven’t been around children yet, so that’s still an unknown for me. I also haven’t been tested with cats. But if you’re looking for a sweet, gentle boy who would love nothing more than to quietly become your best friend… maybe we should talk. 🥹 I don’t need to be the center of attention. I just want to be YOUR center of attention. 🥰 So… what do you say? Could I be the missing piece of your family? 🐾 Milo 4 years old • Cocker Spaniel • Housebroken • Dog-friendly with chill pups • A little shy • VERY sweet once he knows you 💕 Adopt Milo through Big Dogs Don’t Cry! 🌐 Www.bigdogsdontcry.com Because sometimes the quiet ones have the biggest hearts. ❤️🐾

Jump Rope is spayed, fully healthy and microchipped! Jump Rope is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! 💧: Working on Housebreaking: Making progress, but prefers to have potty pads in her home and access to a backyard. 🏠 : Crate Trained: Comfortable spending time in a crate and settles easily. The crate is her safe space. 🚶: Will benefit from continued training. She prefers the backyard in her foster home and has only gone on a couple very brief walks. 🐶: Dog Friendly: Gets along with other dogs and requires a dog pal in her future home as having a buddy helps tremendously with her confidence! 😺: Cat Friendly: Lives with a cat in her foster home and does wonderfully! 🧒: Kid-friendly: She currently lives with two dog-savvy, respectful kids and has done well with them. Jump Rope is a shy but sweet girl who has so much love to give to those in her inner circle! She came to us from a hoarding situation in Texas and has truly come so far from her beginnings. Once you are her bestie, she will gift you with the cutest, bouncy greeting dances that are so rewarding - she squeals and flaps her ears and tippy tippy taps. Then she retreats back into her safe space and thumps her tail to signal she wants some neck scratches. She would love a home with a dog pal and with a patient and understanding adopter who will give her time and space to open up and thrive! 🧬: This pet’s DNA was tested by Embark for fun and you can see her results in her photos! 💰: Jump Rope’s adoption fee is $300. 🩷: Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/. Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours. For additional questions, email adopt@onetail.org.

Story
Panther is being fostered in PA.9/8/26: Panther continues to heal from her first TECA surgery, an infection delayed healing a little bit and we hope to be able to remove her sutures in another week or so. Her sutures have been removed from her eye and it has healed very well. She's feeling a little shy and will only let us take pictures of her "good side"! Such a prima donna! She is still waiting for BDRA to raise the remaining funds so that we can schedule her second TECA surgery. We are about halfway there but until we have raised the money, she has to wait a little longer. My name is Panther and I want a home where I will have someone to cuddle me all the time! I will follow you around and show you just how much love I have to give. I live with a bunch of other dogs in my foster home and I like them all but if I have to be the only dog that you love, well, I'm fine with that too!My favorite thing in the world is Churro treats. My foster mom likes to hide medicine in them and she thinks I don't know it, but I don't care because Churro bites make everything yummy! I'm not a picky eater but when my foster mom puts some homemade food on top of my kibble, oh boy is that the good stuff! I gobble that down so fast!I like going out for a little while but I would rather be inside laying on the couch or a bed, even the floor. Sometimes it gets just too hot out there and I don't like that. I will walk for you on a leash but I would rather just run along with my foster mom through my fenced in yard. It's so much fun following her around.I've had a bit of a rough time, they just stole my left eye, I don't know what they plan to do with it, it's broken, but whatever. I don't even miss it a little bit. They also did some big surgery to my left ear. My foster mom calls it a TECA and the surgeon explained to me that it was a Total Ear Canal Ablation. I don't know what that means but I know they took all the yucky things out of my ear and now it feels so much better. They tell me I'm going to have the same thing done in my right ear. I can't wait, my right ear hurts so badly too! My foster mom said that they are waiting until they raise the money to do it. I don't know what money is, but I hope they raise it soon so I can feel all better!Right now I am not looking my prettiest, but I am healing every day and my fur will grow back good as new!My foster mom says the family that gets to live with me forever will be a very lucky family. I'm the best girl ever!BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Don't let this stoic, calm face fool you...🖤Kashmere🖤 is a tiny fluffy, on-the-go cyclone until he sees a treat😅Then he sits perfectly still until said treat is gone and he's off the races again! He's got all the typical and expected 5-month-old puppy energy and he sure is the happiest guy around. Kashmere doesn't seem to know a stranger and he is quick to say hello to everyone and anyone. And speaking of loving everyone; Kashmere has enjoyed his time around other nice dog friends. He was a bit intimidated around shelter kitties! So, as long as your cat is welcoming to dogs, we think he may adjust to befriend them, as well. Kiddos should be old enough to be able to be respectful around Kashmere. He's a complete wiggle and he'd be an awesome fur-bro to them! 🐾🐾 He is still learning the ropes regarding being fully potty-trained. Kashmere is a smart pup so we're sure with time and consistency that he will succeed! A few of his favorite things are playing with toys and chewing on thing! It's important to give him puppy-appropriate toys! 🥰 An active adopter who loves daily walkies would be awesome for Kashmere! He's an energetic lil' guy! He currently weighs about 12 pounds and he is neutered. Come by Michiana Humane Society to meet him! 🖤🖤🖤
