I am blind so I need to learn how to get around in new surroundings.  I still need someone that can spend time with me and love me a lot.   I am a kind gentle soul that loves to be with my people.  I can snuggle, cuddle, and love you with the best of them.  I am very affectionate.  Walking and playing in the yard on a leash is a treat for me because they don’t think I was allowed to be outside in my previous life.  I didn’t know how to play at first, but I am getting more playful each day.  I enjoy my chew toys and I have a teddy bear that I can snuggle with when my foster mom is too busy.     I have made so much progress since I came to DDR.  I'm doing great at leash training.  I enjoy riding in the car when I’m in my carseat.  I have learned to go potty outside, play with toys, and my favorite thing is to sleep with my foster mom or watch TV with her.  I have learned to go up stairs really well & I can go down stairs with a little help from my foster mom.   I have a lot of love to give and I ask very little in return.     Will you be my furever family? I am 5 years old, I weigh 18 pounds, my adoption fee is $325 plus sales tax $14.63= $339.63     My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, spay, dental and microchipping.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 28, 2025, 11:56 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Annie is a gorgeous little cocker spaniel in search of her forever family. Unfortunately, she has pretty significant vision and hearing impairments due to birth defects. However, she does not allow these impairments to hold her back - she is a very happy girl and loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch with her foster humans. Annie is working hard on her house and crate training and is making good progress. She adores the other dogs in her foster home.   ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe - no invisible fences. Open concept home with minimal stairs would be ideal for Annie. A confident resident dog to help guide Annie would be best. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly. November 12, 2025, 9:37 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Nugget is a handsome Cocker Spaniel in search of his forever family. He has recently discovered the joy of playing with squeaky toys :) Unfortunately, Nugget's dental disease was so severe that his remaining teeth had to be extracted during his dental. He is so much better without them and will finally be pain free once his mouth heals up completely.   ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Physically fenced in yard to keep him safe - no invisible fences. Nugget enjoys the other dogs in his foster home and would love to go to a home with a resident dog, but it is not required. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Domino is a gorgeous Cocker Spaniel in search of his forever family.
