Bailey came into the shelter with her brother when her caretaker became to ill to care for them. They previously lived in Arizona with their mom who passed, and her best friend drove them back to NJ and has been caring for them. Unfortunately, they need another good-hearted person to take them in together. They will not be adopted separately they are very bonded. Baily does have some vision loss but in great shape. She loves to bounce around and soak up love and attention. She is house broken and walks pretty good on her leash, she also has basic training and is a sweet lady. So, if you can give Bailey and beacon a soft spot to land, please come meet them.

Story
Beacon came into the shelter with his sister when her caretaker became to ill to care for them. They previously lived in Arizona with their mom who passed, and her best friend drove them back to NJ and has been caring for them. Unfortunately, they need another good-hearted person to take them in together. They will not be adopted separately they are very bonded. Beacon is very low key and prefers a quiet life while his sister Bailey goes off and plays around. Hes more of a snuggle bug. He is cat friendly and tends to avoid kids when they are around. Beacon does have some bad teeth and does need a dental. He has some vision and hearing loss, but he is an old man after all. Hes still spunky and loves a squeaky toy but you do need to be a little cautious with treats and food because he feels he`s racing his sister for it! He could accidently nip a finger in the heat of the moment but not intentionally. If you think you can offer Bailey and Beacon a safe home to retire to please don`t make them wait to long. They deserve a soft bed and a loving home.

Story
Looking for a home with a closed backyard. There are two dogs. My best friend past away 3 years ago and these were here dogs. They lived in Arizona alone with her and I went and got them to live with me. The brown dog is a female her name is Bailey she is 8 years and the white dog is a male his name is Beacon he is 10. They are use to living together. They would have to be adopted together because they only have each other. The girl dog is active she loves everyone, the boy dog is less active he is more relax and has less trust once he loves he loves hard. The reason for looking for a new home. I have rheumatoid arthritis/fibromyalgia and it is becoming too much for me to handle the two dogs.
