Meet Posey and Cash Two Cocker Spaniels, Double the Love &#226&#156&#168 Coming into our care on 2/22, Posey and Cash are two AKC-registered Cocker Spaniels who are as sweet as they are charming—and they’re ready to steal hearts. Posey is a three-year-old brown and white beauty weighing just 17 pounds. Petite, playful, and full of affection, she’s the perfect mix of fun and cuddle-time. Posey is fully house trained and kennel trained, and she’s been obsessed with fetch since she was six months old—it’s her absolute favorite thing in the world. She can be a little vocal when first meeting new people, making sure to announce her presence, but once she gets a good sniff, her walls come down fast. After that, she’s all love—belly rubs, cuddles, and sticking close to her people. Posey is wonderful with children, gentle with other animals, spayed, well-socialized, and has no aggressive tendencies whatsoever. Cash, a two-year-old sable Cocker Spaniel weighing 24 pounds, is a true gentleman with a playful streak. He’s incredibly smart, fully house trained and kennel trained, and thrives on routine. Brave is a 2 year old cocker spaniel. This is what his foster family says about him... Brave is Two years young and looking for his forever family. Brave is crate trained, potty trained and knows to sit, wait, leave it and place. He is very smart and food motivated! He is neutered, up to date on all of his shots and behaves well at the vet. Brave and his Foster Mom are working with a Trainer to address his reactivity when walking on a leash. He will need someone who is willing to keep up the Training he has done so far and can continue to make progress. Brave loves adventure, playing with his toys, hunting for them in hide and seek play and especially going for walks. He would do best in a home with older kids and he is very used to kids coming in and out. Brave needs someone to be patient because he can have his guard up at first but he is just frightened of new people sometimes and you will see his tail wagging. Once he gets to know you, Brave can be very loving and is happiest by your side or lying on his bed near you. He is such a sweet boy and has so much love to give! Luna came to us in heat and we wanted to wait to make sure that she was not pregnant before taking her to the vet to get spayed. We took her for her spay appointment and were informed that she had "four little peanuts inside". We are so thankful that they were not aborted as they are the most precious little smart, healthy, happy, playful, adorable puppies of the year! They are fully litter box trained and/or go outside to do their business.. But it is wonderful during bad weather to have them litter box trained and not have to mess with puppy pads. Colette will be around 25 pounds as an adult, she is spayed, heartworm negative and is on ProHeart6 heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is 750.00, transport fee is 165.00 The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. After you submit your application please allow a few days to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We do look for the best home that fits each of our pets, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home.
