Story
Meet this sweet 4-year-old girl 🐶, weighing around 23 pounds, who's ready to find her forever home! She's incredibly friendly and loving 🥰, a real "ball of fire" 🔥 with a zest for life. As she gets more comfortable, her true personality really starts to shine! 🌞 Potty training is going very well, as long as she is let out on a regular schedule. Zinnia is also working on crate training, she’s a smart cookie who continues to make progress! 💪 On walks, she can be a bit of a puller 🐾, especially if a squirrel 🐿️ or bird 🐦 catches her eye - so be ready for some excitement! Her yard patrol duties are becoming more routine with much less tendency to climb the fence. She's great with other dogs 🐕‍🦺 and generally cat-friendly 😻, though she might get a little over-excited and try to play with or chase cats 🤭 This active "wild child" would thrive in a house 🏡 with a fenced yard 🌳 where she can zoom around and burn off all her energy. She loves to run and play, making her a perfect match for an active family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 who can keep up with her spirited personality. If you’re looking for a lively, affectionate companion, she's an absolute gem! ✨

Story
Emma was my in laws dog and they had to move to independent living and can no longer care for her as they’re in their 80s. She is 11. Very sweet and still loves to play with balls, especially if they squeak! She takes Prozac for anxiety (specifically for the groomer) and has eye ointment twice daily for dry eye which is common in Cockers from what I’m told. I already have 2 dogs and kids in sports and I’m unable to have a 3rd right now.she is very hard of hearing as she is almost 12.She does fine with cats. She likes to plays with other dogs and lives fine with them but She shows food and treat aggression if you touch her food or try to take her treats. She also does fine with kids but with not wanting her food touched I’d recommend older kids.

Story
Biggie 4 years old Neutered male Cocker Spaniel 30 lbs (on a diet) Biggie came to us from a puppy mill and is trying so hard to figure out this “real dog” life. He is a little nervous and a lot awkward but he has so much potential and gets more comfortable each day! He needs a little help, like being carried in and out of the yard and boosted on to the couch, but he’ll catch on! He’s a little bit of a flirt with the ladies but we believe that will calm down after his neuter. - Dog friendly, cats unknown - Crate trained - Working on potty training - Nervous on leash, fenced yard required - Needs another dog in the home If you’re interested in adopting Biggie please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt *Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications. We ask that you are sure you are ready to welcome a dog into your home and are seriously interested in adopting BEFORE applying.
