We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Clover (Buddy) is a gorgeous 2 1/2 year old Cocker Spaniel/Shi tzu mix who needs a new forever home! He also responds to the name “Buddy”.Clover just loves a nice long walk with a person he loves. He is a curious boy and enjoys sightseeing during his walks.Clover attaches quickly to one person and is fearful of those he doesn’t know. He has shown some protectiveness over his previous owner. We recommend he be the only pet in the home.Clover lights up when it’s time to play! He has a blast playing with his toys and can be protective of them as well. A potential adopter would need to visit several times in order to win his trust and get to know him. This pup has so much potential if given the time and patience that he needs. An adopter would need to commit to working with a trainer as needed to help him build his confidence and learn to trust others. Due to his special needs, we are only seeking a local adopter who lives in a single family home.Clover is neutered, microchipped, heart worm free, approximately 30 pounds, and up to date on all vaccines. If you’d like to meet this handsome boy, please email adopt@bobbicares.org to arrange a visit appointment. All of our adoptions are local only.

Story
Meet Millie, affectionately known as Momma!  This stunning three-year-old female merle Cocker Spaniel is a true treasure. With her unique black, white, and gray markings, complemented by one striking blue eye and a gentle light brown eye, Millie captures hearts wherever she goes. It’s no wonder she has her very own “pawparazzi” following her every move! Millie’s journey began when she was rescued from a breeder who was relocating. To our surprise, she was pregnant and soon after, she welcomed five beautiful puppies into the world. While three of her little ones have found loving homes, her two remaining 4½-month-old male pups are currently preparing for cherry eye repair surgery to ensure they stay healthy and happy. Millie is known for her sweet and gentle spirit. She loves curling up in your lap for a cozy nap and affection. While she generally enjoys the company of other dogs, she can be a bit protective during mealtime, but she has never shown aggression towards people. Millie would flourish in a home where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves, whether as the only pet or alongside another gentle companion. Having come from a suburban setting, she may find city life a bit overwhelming. If you feel a connection with Millie and are interested in welcoming her into your heart and home, please complete our online application at www.nyabandonedangels.com. Millie is ready to share her love with a family that will cherish her!                        To apply: 1. You must reside within our adoptable states: NY, NJ, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, PA, DE, MD, VA 2. Story
Joey is an approximately two-year-old neutered male Cocker Spaniel with energy to burn and a lot of love to give. He would thrive with an active adult only family and a secure, fenced-in yard where he can run and play. He wouldn’t be happy in a busy city, instead he shine best in a quieter setting. Right now, Joey is being fostered in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, living with two female dogs, and he gets along well with them. He is learning every day and patiently waits for his forever home.  If you believe you may be the right match for Joey, please complete an adoption application at: www..nyabandonedangels.com To apply: 1.
