Story
**Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time*** We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Meet Levi. He is a 6 month old, 25-pound ball of fun with the sweetest eyes and an adorable little “lion mane” that flows in the wind when he runs. This goofy, happy pup loves to play, explore and stay busy, and try to convince another dog to play with him. He is neutered, vaccinated, and currently being fostered in HOUSTON, TEXAS. Once matched with an approved adopter, he’s ready to transport out of state to his forever home. Levi absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine buddy who enjoys wrestling, running, and puppy shenanigans. He can sometimes be a little persistent when trying to convince other dogs to keep playing, but he responds appropriately when corrected and continues to learn good social manners. He’s friendly meeting new dogs and people and approaches life with curiosity, confidence, and excitement. Like many puppies, Levi still has a few things he’s working on. He can get bouncy when excited and may jump up to say hello, and he’s still learning what’s appropriate to chew and how to settle when left unsupervised. The good news? He’s smart, eager to learn, already knows how to sit, takes treats gently, and has made excellent progress. He is crate trained and has been making great progress with potty training, with no accidents in nearly a month. Levi would do best in an active home with a fenced yard where he can burn energy, play fetch, and explore. He’d especially love a family who enjoys including their dog in everyday life. Levi is happiest being your loyal little helper, whether you’re doing yard work, watering plants, or just hanging out outside together. When the fun is over, he’s also happy to cuddle up beside you and relax. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate young dog with lots of personality, Levi is ready to bring laughter, energy, and loyal companionship into his forever home. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt him? Story
Meet Bess Bess is a 2-year-old, 19 pound sweetheart who came from a backyard breeding/hoarding situation with her puppies in Louisiana.  She can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and is always happy once she feels safe. Pertinent Info: Age: 2 years old Weight: 19 pounds Spayed on July 10th Heartworm negative Up to date on vaccinations On monthly preventative Skills: Crate trained — does exceptionally well at night and during the day ‍ Leash trained — fantastic on a leash Potty routine — prefers going for walks to potty Quiet — rarely barks Crate feeding — eats well in her crate Dog friendly — good with other dogs Cat friendly — does well with cats Teen friendly — currently fostered in a home with teens Bess is quiet, gentle, and easy to love. Like a typical small dog, she prefers to go outside, do her business, and trot right back to the door where comfort is waiting. Personality: Loves soft beds, couches, and comfort Likes to play, but not in an obnoxious way Enjoys a good chew bone Sweet, calm, and low-maintenance Always happy once she feels safe Bess does well with other dogs, but she can feel intimidated by larger groups of dogs or multiple big dogs at once. When things get too busy or overwhelming, she prefers to find a quiet, calm spot where she can relax and feel secure. Bess has longer hair and will need regular grooming. She arrived severely matted and in desperate need of care, but her groomer said she was a very good girl through it all. She was a wonderful mom to her puppies and even helped co-parent with Alma, another foster. After everything Bess has been through, she is ready for a soft place to land and a family who will love her forever Fill out an adoption application if you would like her to join your family.  She can come to NY after her spay.  Her $500 adoption fee cover medical up to adoption to include vaccines, spay, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY. ##2725031##
