A True Sweetheart That's how Lorian's foster mom refers to him, and we have to agree! This Cocker Spaniel mix puppy spreads sunshine and joy wherever he goes. He's vision impaired and has some hearing, but that doesn't slow him down one bit. This smart boy knows how to find the doggy door on his own, is doing well with crate and house training, and loves paying with kids and with other dogs. Lorian's favorite things to do are cuddling, cuddling, and more cuddling! His smarts, paired with his high food motivation, mean he's quick to learn and pick up new tricks. He's already picked up recall and comes running back when called, excited for more snuggles and treats. Meet Manda! Manda is a sweet, goofy little 6 month old Cocker (mix?) girl who is currently accepting applications for a forever family willing to provide snacks, snuggles, and absolutely no judgment about her questionable driving skills. Manda loves exploring the world, making new dog friends, and investigating anything that might possibly contain food. She is VERY food motivated, which is wonderful for training and also means she would probably sell your deepest family secrets for a piece of cheese. She can be a little hesitant when meeting new people, but give her a little time and some patience, and suddenly you’re her new favorite human. Congratulations. You’ve been adopted. Despite our assumptions otherwise, Manda has hearing, and we believe she has some vision in one eye. She actually navigates the world pretty darn well, provided she is traveling at a reasonable speed. Unfortunately, Manda has not yet received the memo about reasonable speeds. When the zoomies hit, all bets are off. Furniture, walls, unsuspecting objects that have been standing in the same place for years…sometimes they just get in her way. Manda has places to be, people to see, and apparently no interest in applying the brakes. Thankfully, once her little battery runs out, she’s more than happy to curl up beside you and enjoy some snuggles. She’s got a wonderful balance of puppy shenanigans and sweetness, and she really is just a delightful little soul. We are looking for a family who understands that having some visual limitations doesn’t mean Manda needs to live in a bubble. She needs opportunities to explore, learn, play, and occasionally make questionable decisions about her velocity. Just like any other puppy. And perhaps a family who doesn’t rearrange the furniture every Tuesday. Manda doesn’t need anyone to feel sorry for her. She needs someone to love her, teach her, laugh with her, and appreciate all the wonderful things that make her who she is. Different, not less. And apparently equipped with a turbo button. Halo There!  This is Angel is she is oh-so-heavenly and looking for her forever home.  Angel is 11 years young and 31 pounds.  She has met other dogs and kids without any negative reactions.  Angel could also be your one and only pup too. Angel is quiet when left alone, rides nicely in the car and walks beautifully on the leash.  She enjoys a cozy couch or fluffy bed and sleeps all night long. Raven is a beautiful ~2 year old, 25 pound black cocker spaniel. Her fur is so soft and shiny.  She is loving life in her foster home and does great with the other pups and people. Raven is working on her house training.  Loud noises are still scary for Raven so a quieter home is ideal with another playful pup.  Raven isn't a city pup and needs a home with a secure fence in the suburbs. Roux is a beautiful 2'ish year old, 25 pound cocker spaniel who arrived with the Autumn 8.  He is in a wonderful foster him in Springfield, VA.  Roux loves to snuggle for hours with his foster Mom on the couch.  He is working on his house training but has quickly mastered it without any accidents in the past few days. Roux will need to stay on a routine with frequent potty breaks. Roux needs another playful pup in his forever home with a securely fenced yard. He is not a city boy as loud noises are still scary for him. Sadly, he arrived heartworm positive and has started OBG-sponsored treatment. It is not contagious to humans or other dogs and he is available for adoption during the treatment.
