Story
Princess Bae is the definition of sweet, cuddly companionship. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she knows you, she truly blossoms into the most loving, affectionate girl. She loves nothing more than being near her people whether she’s curled up beside you while you work from home or quietly keeping you company around the house. When she’s not snuggling, Princess Bae enjoys bird watching, chasing squirrels her favorite outdoor hobby, playing fetch, and exploring DC landmarks like a true city adventurer. Princess Bae would thrive in a home where someone is around often, as she truly loves human company and being part of your daily routine. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a cuddle buddy, and a gentle, loving best friend who will grow into your heart more every day Princess Bae is ready to be your happily-ever-afterPrincess Bae’s foster family told us: “She’s sweet, cuddly, loves to just hang around you while you work from home. Loves bird watching and chasing squirrels. Loves to play fetch and explore DC landmarks. Is a decent listener, but needs some help with leash manners. Would do best with someone that’s home a lot, since she loves human company. She’s house and crate trained and is super easy going. ”If you are interested in adopting Princess Bae, please email kleijweg.louise@gmail.com to arrange an initial meet and greet with the pet’s foster parent or a staff member. They will reply to you within 24-48 hours.

Story
David has been waiting in a shelter in San Juan, Puerto Rico for three long years. He wasn’t a young puppy when he was surrendered, and time has quietly passed him by. One of his eyes is a bit cloudy, but his heart is clear — he loves attention and leans into every bit of affection he’s offered. David would love nothing more than a chance to finally leave the shelter behind and know what it’s like to have a home of his own.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
Shiloh is looking for a forever home or a foster home! She is 12 years old and weighs 30 pounds.  Shiloh is a beautiful deep chocolate and white cocker spaniel who was surrendered by her owner after being unable to keep her.  Shiloh has excellent leash and car manners.  Shiloh loves everyone and greets them with a wagging tail.  She is house trained and loves being with her people.  Shiloh was raised with children and the prior owner said she was great with kids 8 years and above.  Although Shiloh can be around other pups at the vet's office, walks, pet stores, her ideal forever home is as your one and only with no other pups in the home. She is located in Alexandria, VA.  If you can open your home to Shiloh, please email us at adoptme@cockerspanielrescue.com. She is ready to start the rest of her life now!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 1, 2026, 4:39 pm
