Story
Sweetie Pie showed up at my house in August 2025. She was severely emaciated and had dozens of ticks in her ears and on her face. She was about 7 months old. Today she weighs in at a healthy 52 pounds. She has had all her shots, been chipped, DNA tested, and been spayed. She is a collie, german shepard, pit bull, staffy mix. She is a very loving affectionate dog, craves attention, is a profusive kisser, and fancies herself a couch potato lap dog. She does not want to be left alone in a house or crate but willingly goes into a crate in my bedroom for the night. She also does not like to be crated in a car. She is house trained, but you must pay attention to her alerts. She is a high energy dog. Runs like the wind when doing zoomies in the large back yard. I do not have a fenced yard. She has not learned to walk well on a leash. I am 83 years old, she is too much for me to manage. I need to find a loving home for her.

Story
Yankee is an 8 month old male Collie / Lab mix who’s just as beautiful inside as he is out. With his sunny personality and sweet smile, he brightens every space he’s in. Yankee walks well on a leash, making walks around the neighborhood easy and very pleasant. This sweet friendly pup happily greets people, wagging his tail and always ready to make new friends. Yankee enjoys playing with toys or with his doggie pals in adjacent play areas, but he especially lovvvves getting to spend time with his human friends. Overall, Yankee is an absolute gem - loving, super sweet, full of heart - and just waiting to be discovered by his forever family. Could that be you? Come meet this wonderful boy and find out, Yankee can’t wait to meet you!  The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.
