Story
I am the silliest and friendliest of boys! I love to run and can do agility pretty well! I have a lot of energy but I can do some tricks and I take redirection well. I'd really like it if you could rub my belly! I love dogs and squeaky toys .. and sometimes I think I'm a lap dog. I love walks and I love running around in a fenced in backyard. Fun fact: I'm longer than I look in photos which makes me look like a dragon body with a cute, Aussie dog head!

Story
Meet Odin, a powerful name for a smart, energetic dog who knows what he likes. This handsome guy is very treat-motivated, already knows sit, and loves chasing balls, making him a fun partner for training and interactive play. Odin walks decently on leash and would truly shine in a home with plenty of space where he can stretch his legs, burn energy, and enjoy doing his own thing. Like his namesake, Odin is selective about his inner circle. He would do best in a cat-free home. He can be cautious with new people and may bark at strangers, so he’s looking for a confident, experienced adopter who understands how to build trust and provide calm, consistent guidance. In the right hands, Odin will reward patience with loyalty and a strong bond—ideal for someone seeking a devoted companion rather than a social butterfly. Story
Tweety is a cattle dog (likely mixed with a Smooth Coat Collie), which basically means she’s equal parts brilliant, busy, and always three steps ahead of everyone in the room. If there’s a job to do, Tweety has already done it… and improved it. Right now, Tweety is training in our Beyond The Bars program, where she’s channeling all that lively puppy energy and sharp intelligence into focus, structure, and partnership. She’s the kind of dog who makes you laugh one minute and say “how did you even figure that out?!” the next — constantly observing, learning, and engaging with everything and everyone around her. Whether she’s zipping through training exercises, locking eyes with her handler like she’s solving a puzzle, or soaking up a quiet moment of connection, Tweety is showing just how much potential she has. The puppy in her means her attention span is simiar to a gnat - lol - but when she's focused, she's really focused! May 22, 2026, 6:01 pm

Story
Hi there! I’m Ruxin, a very smart pup—so smart that I sometimes surprise people with what I can figure out. I’m housebroken and love spending time with my people. Loud noises can make me a little nervous, so I’d thrive in a calmer home that helps me feel safe. I also have some impressive escape-artist skills, which means I’ll need supervision when I’m outside.I may be an older guy at 8 years old, but you wouldn’t know it—I still have plenty of good energy and enthusiasm for learning. I’m part of the Adoption Academy, where I’ve been working alongside other dogs and my favorite volunteers to polish my skills. I know how to sit and stay, and I’m happy to offer a paw for a tasty treat or two! Outside of the shelter, my calm and easygoing personality really shines. I’m housebroken, know some basic commands, and have a nice moderate energy level with a love for walks. I’m great in the car and very polite around other dogs, even when they’re loud or reactive. I can be a little cautious when meeting new people at first, but I warm up quickly once I feel comfortable. I’m also pretty independent and happy to relax on my own without following you everywhere. I’m not a big fan of the crate, but I’ve done very well being left out on my own for short periods without any trouble. Can`t wait to meet you!xo, RuxinP.S. I qualify for Welcome Trial, which means you can take me home for up to 14 days to see if we`re the perfect match before making things official. With the right home, patience, and love, I’ll be a loyal, clever companion who’s ready to be by your side and enjoy some cuddles.

Story
Dakota is a young adult probably 3 years old. He weighs about 65 lb. When he arrived he was heartworm positive. He has completed treatment as is doing great. Dakota is friendly but can be distrustful of strangers at first. He walks well on leash and will sit when asked. He can pull a bit. I use a training collar on him. He is well mannered. He will jump up but I've not had him put his feet on me. He loves attention and enjoys going for hikes with me. He would become a devoted, protective companion. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy.
