She keeps her kennel clean and is pretty good at listening to her humans. Mya can be a little shy at first but then she opens up and is all about you.

Story
Meet Odin, a powerful name for a smart, energetic dog who knows what he likes. This handsome guy is very treat-motivated, already knows sit, and loves chasing balls, making him a fun partner for training and interactive play. Odin walks decently on leash and would truly shine in a home with plenty of space where he can stretch his legs, burn energy, and enjoy doing his own thing. Like his namesake, Odin is selective about his inner circle. He would do best in a cat-free home. He can be cautious with new people and may bark at strangers, so he’s looking for a confident, experienced adopter who understands how to build trust and provide calm, consistent guidance. In the right hands, Odin will reward patience with loyalty and a strong bond—ideal for someone seeking a devoted companion rather than a social butterfly. Story
Meet Colton!  Colton is a 4-year-old Lab/Border Collie/Shar Pei super mutt (according to his sibling’s DNA test!) and weighs about 45 lbs. He is incredibly smart, expressive, and a total tease when he wants to be—his emotions are written clearly on his face. Colton has lots of energy and would love an active family to keep up with him! He can be a little mischievous, and his favorite game is “catch me if you can,” followed closely by doing parkour in his kennel. Colton’s mother was rescued by animal control from a horrible abuse situation, and she gave birth to 8 beautiful puppies in the pound while charges were being filed against her owner. Once they were released, the rescue took in the mother and pups, and all have been thriving ever since. Colton is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $250. To apply, visit roseacresrescue.org.September 14, 2026, 11:13 pm
