Story
Kirra is a smart, playful girl who loves to have fun—especially with another playful dog! She can be wonderfully submissive with her canine friends, but don’t let that fool you. Once she’s ready to play, she can be quite persistent about getting her playmate in on the fun. She also loves playing fetch and does well with kids. And when playtime is over, Kirra enjoys cuddles with her people.
Kirra is an eager learner with a sharp mind, so she’ll thrive with people who enjoy keeping her engaged through training, enrichment, and activities. She listens well, usually follows instructions, and adapts quickly to new experiences.
She’s also a great hiking companion and rides well in the car. She’s still working on jumping into the vehicle on her own, but she’s making good progress. Kirra is generally a quiet dog with minimal barking, although she may join in when another dog starts barking.
At night, Kirra settles beautifully and sleeps through the night in her kennel.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
