Story
This sweet guy was wandering our neighborhood. We assumed he had escaped the yard of a neighbor and put him in our side yard with plans to get him back to his humans, but he wasnt chipped, so we decided to foster him and integrate him into our household. We have been unable to do that with the reactivity of our two older dogs. He is currently confined to a dog run on the side of our house and is lonely. He gets walked and fed but deserves a better life, fully integrated with a family. We have been calling him Goose because he is a very silly goose, but he will respond to anything that rhymes with -oose. He is a joyful happy puppy, about 1 year old, has all his vaccines and is neutered. A quick learner but easily distracted, loves to run next to a human on a bike. He thrives best with LOTS of exercise. Loves fetch, a good walker on leash. Probably most successful as an only dog but is great with kids. We really love him and he deserves better!

This pet is part of the rehoming program and is not in the care of the CCSPCA. Please read carefully and reach out to the owner directly via cell: 925-809-5537 or email:victoriajett20@gmail.com. The owner states, “ I am a new mom who’s been uprooted from an alcoholic relationship. I have to stay with family for awhile and restart life. My dog is about 11 years old. He’s a border collie mix. He can be hyper but he also loves to lay around. He’s never bitten anyone or any dog. He will surrender if another dog comes at him. He loves squeaky toys. He doesn’t play with other dogs but doesn’t mind having them around. He’s vocal, he growls when he’s playing and happy. But he is absolutely not mean. He does a happy dance when it’s dinner time. He knows a lot of tricks. He’s very smart and listens well. Our home is mostly quiet. Other dogs on the other side of the fence and he doesn’t care. He’s a people lover. ” Due to the pet not being in our care, it is out of our control when and if the owner responds to your inquiry. Thank you.
