Story
Our goal is to find him a permanent, loving home that can truly give him the attention, structure, and activity level he needs and deserves. We recently welcomed a newborn and currently live in an apartment, which we now realize is not an appropriate environment for his breed and energy level. He needs an owner who can dedicate the time, training, and physical activity that a Border Aussie requires, ideally with a suitable home and secure yard. We previously believed we had found his forever home. He was placed with a family for approximately 6.5 weeks in a household with four cats. He adjusted well, played appropriately, and formed a bond with one of the cats in particular. Everything appeared to be going very well until recently, when he was playing with the cat and became too rough. Unfortunately, the incident resulted in the cat needing stitches. The family was shocked, as they stated he had shown no other aggressive behavior. He’s been in a home with a cat before and was fine.

Story
This sweet guy was wandering our neighborhood. We assumed he had escaped the yard of a neighbor and put him in our side yard with plans to get him back to his humans, but he wasnt chipped, so we decided to foster him and integrate him into our household. We have been unable to do that with the reactivity of our two older dogs. He is currently confined to a dog run on the side of our house and is lonely. He gets walked and fed but deserves a better life, fully integrated with a family. We have been calling him Goose because he is a very silly goose, but he will respond to anything that rhymes with -oose. He is a joyful happy puppy, about 1 year old, has all his vaccines and is neutered. A quick learner but easily distracted, loves to run next to a human on a bike. He thrives best with LOTS of exercise. Loves fetch, a good walker on leash. Probably most successful as an only dog or with a secure, non-reactive pack. He is so sweet and fun!
