Meet Gunner 🐾 Gunner is a 2-year-old male Border Collie with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. True to his breed, he’s extremely high-energy, intelligent, and always ready for action. He thrives on activity, structure, and engagement, and would love a home that can keep both his body and brain busy. Gunner is exceptionally friendly and over-the-top affectionate. He absolutely adores people and is especially obsessed with kids—sometimes to a fault. Because of his enthusiasm and intensity, he would do best in a home with older children who can confidently handle his energy and excitement. Gunner was surrendered after experiencing one seizure. He has not had any additional seizures since, is not currently on medication, and is otherwise doing well. However, potential adopters should be aware that he may have seizures in the future and could require medication down the road. This social, people-loving boy wants to be involved in everything you do. With appropriate outlets for his energy, consistent training, and a family prepared for his medical uncertainty, Gunner will be an incredibly loyal, loving, and rewarding companion. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, high-energy dog and are comfortable with the possibility of future medical management, Gunner may be the perfect fit for you. 💙 Gunner will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
