Introducing Zaida! This sweet border collie mix came to AFRP after she was found along the side of a road where a good samaritan stopped to help her. Now, she's thriving in foster care and ready to find her forever home! Zaida is an active girl, treat-motivated and loving as can be. She's on the hunt for a home with experienced adopters who have previously owned herding breeds and understand the extensive physical and mental stimulation required to make these pups thrive! Zaida would prefer to find a home as the only pup but does well with other dogs - she loves being the center of attention! She's not an apartment pup and will require a fenced-in yard to ensure she's able to have some space to get all of that energy out! Zaida will need an adult only family, or adopters with children over the age of 8 to continue her positive training and socialization. While in our care, Zaida has been diagnosed with idiopathic head tremor syndrome (IHTS), a benign condition characterized by focal head tremors of unknown cause. While this condition is not fully understood, Zaida's continuous head and body tremors are managed as part of her unique journey. Tremors do resolve over time, but some, such as Zaida, have continuous head and body tremors. Alongside this, Zaida is currently taking long-term medication to help alleviate symptoms of anxiety, as well as OCD. TILLY has come to us through an owner surrender. Due to loosing her home she can no longer keep Tilly. It was a very hard decision as this dog is truly loved. Look at that lovely loving face and those stretched out paws. See those eyes, one blue one brown, those loving eyes are so appealing. She is a real sweet beauty with a LOT of love to give. She is a devoted dog to her human. Cuddly and loyal. Want to shake hands, oh Tilly loves to do that. Tilly loves attention and being with all people, fine with children ages 7 and above. A family that loves hiking and long walks will be the ideal home for Tilly. Tilly shows zero signs of aging, she is smart, obedient, listens, walks very well on the leash. Loves to play and fetch, housebroken, crate trained and knows all basic commands. No training needed, just needs to adjust to a new home and people. She was recently spayed, microchipped, vaccines updated and health check done. Tilly weighs 57.8lbs. She is fully grown. Tilly needs to be the ONLY DOG in the home, she isn’t very fond of other dogs. On walks she ignores other dogs.
