Hi there, My name is Dottie. I am a young female Blue Heeler/Border Collie mix. I was found out in the wild, a long way from any homes! I am VERY shy and anxious at the moment. The staff here at JHACC has been helping me come out of my shell, but its a slow process. I was found with 2 other dogs and have done well meeting other dogs I don't know. But I am still learning how to be social. I need to go to a very special home with someone who is going to be very patient with me and help me learn how to trust. *Please speak with staff for me details about Dottie!*

Looking for an easy, medium-sized dog? Look no further! My name is Atticus, at your service. I am a very nice, pocket sized boy awaiting my forever family. I am very well behaved, and you may find me hanging out in the front office at the shelter. I get along with other dogs, and walk great on a leash. I am intelligent and perceptive, as well as potty trained! *Staff disclaimer: Atticus suffered a spinal disc event that caused him to lose some motor control of his legs, he is still perfectly mobile but is still recovering. He cannot jump, and may have trouble climbing a lot of stairs.*
