Meet Zorro! If you’re looking for a dog who will snuggle up beside you, roll over for belly rubs, and love you with his whole heart, Zorro is your guy. This sweet boy may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, he becomes a loyal, affectionate shadow who just wants to be near his people.
Zorro is a big fan of cozy moments—whether it’s movie nights on the couch or slow, lazy mornings, he’s happiest curled up right next to you. He does well with other dogs and has shown respectful manners around cats, giving them space when needed.
Zorro does best in a calm, predictable environment and is seeking an adult-only home. The fast movements and energy of young children can be overwhelming for him, and he may respond by asking for space through barking, growling, or other reactive displays. To set him up for success, we are looking for a quieter, more structured home without children. In a child-free environment, he feels safe and settled, and his affectionate, loyal personality truly shines.
Zorro's fully housebroken, kennel trained, and walks nicely on leash—an easy companion ready to fit into your daily routine. Zorro is the total package for the right home: loyal, loving, and deeply connected to his people. If you’re looking for a best friend who will be your constant companion, Zorro is ready to meet you.
Zorro is a 2.5-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Zorro is also tested with other dogs, cats, and potty and kennel trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
