Triscuit will need to be spayed by 10/31/26. Foster to adopt family will contact Grass Roots Rescue at around 5 months to schedule this appointment with one of the clinics we work with in the state of Delaware. Keeping the appointment is a condition of adoption. Foster to adopters must live within 1 hour of DE and be willing to travel here for the pending appointment. NO EXCEPTIONS. Housebroken: A work in progress! Triscuit has been successful on a regular puppy schedule. Crate trained: Triscuit will bark initially but then settle down. She is still learning to be alone and will cry but if you're out of sight, she settles. Good in the car: Yes. She is still a passenger princess and will relax on someone's lap. Good on a leash: She is still learning but doing well! Energy level: Puppy! Play hard and then a nap! Need a fenced in yard: No Dog Friendly: Yes. If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No. Triscuit would do great with other dogs or by herself. Cat Friendly? Unknown. Kid Friendly: Yes, definitely! She is a sweet, loyal girl who deserves more time and attention than I’m able to give her right now.She has a tumor on the left side of her neck and is beginning to lose some of her vision, so she would do best with someone who can give her the patience, love, and care she deserves during her senior years. Despite these challenges, she still enjoys companionship and has so much love to give.I am not asking for any money—I just want to find the right home where she’ll be safe, loved, and cared for.
