Story
This group of 9‑week‑old Rough Collie / Border Collie mix puppies is ready to find their forever homes. All are black and white, currently weighing about 8–9 lbs, and full of everything you’d hope for in a young puppy. These pups are tail‑wagging, cuddly, smart, and sweet. They love people, enjoy being held, and are already showing friendly, social personalities. Each one is curious, playful, and eager to engage — the kind of puppies who happily bounce over for attention and affection. They are doing well with handling and are learning about the world around them with confidence and joy. With their mix of intelligence and loving nature, they’ll do great in homes ready to continue training, socialization, and lots of positive interaction. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate puppy who will grow into a wonderful companion, one of these pups may be the perfect fit for your family. The puppies will come spayed/ neutered, with age appropriate vaccines and microchipped. Story
Peppermint is the kind of puppy who quietly steals your heart. This incredibly handsome Border Collie mix is a thoughtful little observer who likes to take in the world before jumping in. While he is timid with people right now, he’s already showing wonderful signs of growth—he’s curious, willing to explore, and makes sure to keep his people within eyesight as he builds trust. Peppermint is looking for a patient adopter who understands that confidence takes time and is willing to help him continue blossoming at his own pace. With gentle encouragement and a consistent routine, this sweet boy has all the potential to grow into a loyal, devoted companion. He does very well with other dogs and seems to take comfort in their presence, often watching and learning from them. Peppermint is also doing excellent with crate training, showing he’s a smart pup who will thrive with structure. He’s currently learning to be brave on the leash and already making progress each day. Beneath that soft coat and those watchful eyes is a very special boy just waiting for someone to believe in him.  Peppermint is fostered in Reading (Berks County), Pennsylvania and will be able to head home with an adopter on or after 3/21/2026 www.mostlymuttz.org Link to Peppermint’s bio: https://www.wagtopia.com/search/pet?id=2676420&name=Peppermint https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz PA Kennel License: 10872 PO Box 406 Gilbertsville, PA 19525 #mostlymuttzrescue #adoptable #shybutworthit ##2676420##

Story
Welcome to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Wintermint! Wintermint is a gentle, shy boy with a soft heart who is building his confidence in the world around him. He may be reserved when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, he opens up more each day. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality comes through—especially in the form of soft little kisses. He’s currently working on both crate training and potty training and is making progress. Wintermint will thrive in a home that understands he needs time to settle in and is willing to go at his pace. He does wonderfully with other dogs and truly benefits from their presence, often taking cues from his canine companions. It would be beneficial for him to have another dog in his furever home. He’s begun walking on a leash in quiet areas, though loud noises and new experiences can still make him nervous, so continued gentle exposure will help build his confidence. Wintermint is going to grow into a truly handsome and devoted companion. He just needs a patient, understanding home to help him blossom into the dog he’s meant to be. Wintermint is fostered in Reading (Berks County), Pennsylvania and is ready to join a family! www.mostlymuttz.org Link to Wintermint’s bio: https://www.wagtopia.com/search/pet?id=2676422&name=Wintermint #mostlymuttzrescue #adoptabledogs #adoptme ##2676422##

Please contact Darlene at 302-312-5129 (fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 302-312-5129 (text or call) or via email at fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. April 28, 2026, 8:57 pm

Story
This friend has just arrived to us on transport from a high-intake shelter partner! When our friends are new to us, we are often unsure of their full background. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we often are unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Tessie is a one-year-old Blue Heeler with a big heart packed into a petite 20-lb body. Like many Heelers, she forms a deep bond with her person and loves being close — she’s the ultimate little “Velcro dog.” Her favorite things include outdoor adventures, chew toys, exploring the yard, and then settling in for a cozy couch nap with her favorite human. Tessie is incredibly smart and will quickly learn a new routine, but she’ll do best with a patient adopter who will give her a little time and space to settle into her new home. Once she trusts you, her loyalty is unmatched. She also takes her job as yard supervisor very seriously and has the cutest little sassy strut when she’s feeling happy. While she prefers being out and about with her people, she can stay in a crate when needed. Tessie would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a devoted, intelligent dog who will be by their side through life’s adventures. ❤️ If you think Tessie might be the perfect match for you, please apply at straynetwork.org #adoptdontshop
