Story
❄️ She Dug a Hole in the Snow to Save Her Babies—Now It’s Indy’s Turn to Be Chosen ❤️ Nearly three years ago, in December, Indy gave birth under the harshest conditions imaginable. Pregnant, injured, and alone in the winter cold, she dug a hole in the frozen ground to shelter her seven newborn puppies from the snow. Because of Indy’s courage and devotion, Pearl, Opal, Jade, Arrow, River, Ash, and Archer survived. She kept them warm, raised them, and watched every one of them find a family before the following summer. Her puppies were chosen—but Indy was left waiting. Summer came and went. Then another winter. And another. For nearly three years, Indy has remained with the temporary foster mom who welcomed her after her rescue, still waiting for someone to look at her and say, “It’s your turn. I choose you.” At approximately 3 years old and 40 pounds, Indy is a Kelpie–Cattle Dog mix with a huge personality packed into a smaller frame. She is intelligent, affectionate, playful, energetic, and completely devoted to her people. She especially loves children and would thrive with a family or active adults who will include her in their daily lives. Although Indy is a Cattle Dog mix and once lived as a working ranch dog, she was kicked by a cow when she was a puppy and is now afraid of cows. A home where she will not be expected to work around cattle would be best for her. Indy enjoys: 🌱 Helping in the garden while “hunting” grasshoppers and voles 🪟 Watching through the window for her people to return 🥰 Greeting you as if you’ve been gone for years—even if you only took out the trash 👧 Playing and spending time with children 🧠 Learning new commands and showing off how smart she is 🏡 Relaxing comfortably at home without needing to be crated Indy is receiving private training to improve her leash manners, polish her basic commands, and help manage her prey drive. She is eager to please, highly food-motivated, and making wonderful progress. A gentle over-the-nose leash helps her walk beautifully. 🐾 Indy must be the only dog in her home. She can be selective with other dogs and deserves a home where she will not be placed in uncomfortable situations or expected to share her space. Indy has more than enough personality, loyalty, and love to be someone’s one-and-only companion. Her ideal home will offer: 🏡 A securely fenced yard ❤️ Plenty of attention and interaction 👨‍👩‍👧 A family with children or active adults 🦮 Someone committed to continuing her positive training 🐕 A home where she can be the only dog 🐄 No expectation that she work or live closely with cattle Indy protected her puppies when they had no one else. She raised them, loved them, and sent them off to their forever homes before they were even a year old. Indy has now spent almost three years waiting for the happy ending her puppies received within months. Her foster mom loves her dearly and is even sponsoring 50% of Indy’s adoption fee to help the right family find her. Indy survived the snow. She saved her babies. She watched them all get chosen. Please—let this finally be Indy’s turn. ❤️ Apply to meet Indy: www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.net 📍 Fostered in Kimberly, Idaho More photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/H1arHhdd3GwhVwqTA Watch Indy’s video: https://youtu.be/kevORrr2sFw #IndysTurn #ChooseIndy #AdoptIndy #OnlyDog #KelpieMix #CattleDogMix #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #IdahoDogs #FriendsFureverAnimalRescue

Story
🎾💦 Meet Ryder—the Dog Who Turns Every Day into a Comedy Show! 💦🎾 If you are looking for a dog with intelligence, affection, personality, and an endless ability to make you laugh, Ryder may be your perfect match. Ryder is unforgettable. He is hilarious, expressive, incredibly smart, and completely full of life. When he is happy, you will know it—his butt wiggles so hard that the rest of his body joins in! ❤️ 🎓 Ryder is professionally trained! Ryder completed the Board and Train program at Saragold Kennels. He: 🐾 Walks beautifully without pulling 🦮 Is accustomed to using a Gentle Leader head harness rather than attaching a leash to his collar 🐕 Remains calm around other dogs and animals while walking on leash 🧠 Knows sit, stay, place, touch, and other basic commands Ryder has lived with cats his entire life and does well with them following a proper introduction. He is also good with children and babies. He has an especially gentle side when it comes to puppies. Ryder is a total “daddy dog” who has helped care for foster litters raised alongside him. He has even taken over some of the mother dogs’ duties, helping clean and groom their puppies. 🥹🐶 💦 Water is Ryder’s personal playground! Ryder will completely submerge his face while holding his breath. He steals the hose from the pool so he can bite at the stream, then proudly carries it around while attempting to spray people and other dogs. To Ryder, a kiddie pool is basically his own private amusement park. He is also one of the most expressive dogs you will ever meet. When Ryder wants something, he sits back on his haunches, places his paws in your lap, leans backward dramatically, and gives you an unforgettable wide-eyed, sideways stare—as if he is trying to negotiate telepathically. If that doesn’t work, he will get vocal and let you know, “Hey, I’m trying to get your attention!” Ryder has even been known to talk back occasionally, making him an excellent partner for some very funny conversations. 🐾 More about Ryder: ❤️ Extremely affectionate with a classic “Velcro dog” personality 💦 Obsessed with pools, hoses, sprinklers, and water 🎾 Throws toys to himself and catches them in midair 🧠 Smart, playful, and highly interactive 🗣️ Vocal, expressive, and sometimes full of funny backtalk 🐕 Social and playful with other dogs 🐱 Has lived successfully with cats 👶 Good with children and babies 🥕 Loves fruits and vegetables 😉 Still has a flirty personality despite being neutered 😂 Provides a constant supply of laughter and entertainment Ryder genuinely loves vegetables. Give him leftover green beans, carrots, broccoli, or cauliflower alongside a dog cookie, and he will eat the vegetables first. Seriously—all of them! Ryder is not a dog who fades quietly into the background. He wants to participate in whatever his people are doing and forms incredibly strong bonds with them. He would thrive in an active, involved home where he can continue learning, playing, swimming, and making his family laugh every day. Ryder has the kind of personality that turns ordinary moments into favorite memories. All he needs now is a forever family to share them with. 🏡💙 Apply to adopt Ryder: www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.net More photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/3r8fU6bsrELR24WW9 Friends Furever Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. #AdoptRyder #WaterDog #VelcroDog #ProfessionallyTrained #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #DogWithPersonality #FriendsFureverAnimalRescue
