Bonnie is a beautiful mixed breed/collie who is about 2.5 years old and around 45lbs. She had 7 puppies at our shelter and is now looking for her own perfect home! She is a sweetheart, who loves to jump up on you for hugs and attention. She is incredibly smart and agile and would love a home to keep her active and enriched! She is dog friendly and kid friendly. Once she bonds to people she does have the tendency to guard/protect them, so we are looking for a home with previous experience dealing with any potential guarding issues. Due to the guarding/protective behavior we are marking her for households with children over 12 yrs of age. She seems to enjoy other dogs at the shelter, but due to her small animal prey drive, will need a home without cats or small pets.

Winston is a charming, 28-lb mix breed boy estimated to be between 1½ and 2 years old, and he truly is a good one. He has a wonderful, friendly temperament and absolutely loves people of all ages. He’s been fantastic with kids—including a loud, energetic 4½-year-old—and happily soaks up attention from both adults and children. Winston is a toy enthusiast through and through and will gladly empty his toy basket multiple times a day. He enjoys playing fetch with a ball and knows how to have fun without being overwhelming. He walks well on a leash, knows how to sit, and is currently working on “wait” while his food bowl is being put down. He’s about 99% house trained, goes into a crate with a little encouragement, and takes treats very gently. Socially, Winston loves dogs his own size. Cats are unknown, but he does have a higher prey drive for rabbits and squirrels, so a secure environment is important. He enjoys spending time looking out the door, watching the world go by, and being close to his people. He does get nervous during thunderstorms, but with reassurance and comfort, he settles back in. With his sweet nature, great manners, and love for human connection, Winston would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a loyal, affectionate companion. He’s truly a special dog and ready to find his forever home.   The adoption fee of $450 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED!
