Story
Tucker is a cattle dog mix with a soft soul and an even softer spot for cuddles. His expressive eyes and sweet demeanor make it easy to fall in love, but his gentle, affectionate nature truly sets him apart. Tucker thrives on close bonds and adores nothing more than curling up in your lap—he even loves being held like a baby. He’s a true cuddlebug! He is looking for a home without other pets or children. He’ll do best with experienced adopters who can give him the attention and one-on-one companionship he craves. If you're searching for a devoted companion who just wants to be by your side (or in your arms), Tucker may be the perfect match. Tucker is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines!

Story
Meet Pickles, a three month old Blue Heeler puppy with a big personality packed into a little body! This handsome boy was brought to us by a kind citizen who found him locally. Unfortunately, no one came forward to reclaim him, so now Pickles is ready to find a forever family of his very own. Pickles is everything you’d expect from a young Heeler — smart, playful, and always ready for action. He loves romping around with other dogs and has a blast with toys of all kinds. Treats are definitely the way to his heart, which will make training both fun and rewarding. That said, puppies are a lot of work. Pickles will need consistent training, proper socialization, structure, and plenty of patience as he learns and grows. Blue Heelers are an intelligent, high-energy working breed that require significant mental and physical stimulation. As he matures, he will thrive in a home that can keep his mind busy and his body active. If you’re ready to commit to the time, exercise, and enrichment this breed needs, Pickles could grow into an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. Come meet this spunky little guy and see if he’s the perfect addition to your family! His adoption fee is $280, which includes his age appropriate vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, current flea prevention, registered microchip, and neuter. He is already fixed! Call our office for adoption details at 815-725-0333. Located in Joliet, IL

Story
Blue is an attractive, male, 28 pound Blue Heeler who is about 3-4 years old. People he meets on his neighborhood walks frequently comment on what a beautiful dog he is. Blue loves to go to the dog park where he runs playfully with all the other dogs. He is friendly and interactive. When he meets other dogs while he is on a leash, he is more apt to be reactive. Blue is a sweet pooch who will bond strongly with his family. When he first meets people he is cautious and worried that their outreached hands mean they will hit him, not pet him. He would live best with a person or family with a fenced in yard and without small children and cats. Is Blue housebroken? Well, sort of. He can sleep through the night with no problem at all. During the day he has to pee shortly after drinking water. He is on a water/pee schedule to manage this. He eats a prescription dog food that keeps his chronic GI condition in check. Blue is a smart dog who would benefit from formal dog training sessions with his new owner. This would encourage the bonding process between them and help him learn the behaviors that are expected of him. With consistency, patience and understanding, Waylon will give back to ‘his person’ unlimited affection and devotion. If you would like to meet him, contact Teri at 630-897-7454. His adoption fee is $150. Adoption fee includes: - microchip - spay/neuter - age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies - heartworm preventive & flea/tick preventive - deworming

Story
Meet Dora! Dora is a loving, affectionate, and happy girl who bonds quickly with her people. She is a 1 year beagle/cattle dog mix. She adores cuddling and has a special way of bringing smiles and laughter wherever she goes—she even smiles when she’s getting pets! Dora has so much love to give and is ready to be someone’s loyal best friend. She’s a well-mannered companion with no nuisance barking, even when other dogs walk by. She walks nicely on a leash. Dora shows interest in “people food” but doesn’t beg and will politely leave you alone while you eat. She lets you know when she needs to go outside by going to the door and tapping it. Dora is a smart pup who already knows several commands, including sit, no, and let’s go in. If given the choice, she’d happily cuddle on the couch or sleep at your feet, but she also responds very well to gentle corrections and boundaries. A couple of things she’s still working on are jumping up for pets and occasionally putting hands in her mouth—both typical behaviors that she’s improving with guidance She’s friendly with both people and other dogs and would do well as a family pet or as a loving companion for a single person. Dora can feel a little disappointed when her foster family members leave the room or the house, but with reassurance, she quickly rebounds. Dora enjoys playing with toys indoors and outside and would thrive in a home where she can share affection, companionship, and playtime. She seems to match your energy so she'd be up for light walks and relaxing beside you or outdoor higher-energy adventures. If you would like to meet this dog, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $275. Adoption fee includes: - microchip - spay/neuter - age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies - heartworm preventive & flea/tick preventive - deworming
