Hi everybody, I'M CHAMP💙When I first came into rescue a few weeks ago, I was very timid and shy. They called me flapjack because I pancaked on the floor a lot. I have definitely come out of my shell and am turning into the perfect mix of playful and affectionate! 💙I am a border Collie mix and am approximately 6 months old. I currently weigh in at 32 pounds. 💙I love playing with the doodle gang here in my foster home, so I know I would definitely love to have a playmate to help me burn off some of my puppy energy! 💙I'm great with the cats and will sniff them (they smell funny) and just lay next to them. 💙I'm basically Mr. Congeniality with everyone! 💙I am crate trained andhave learned the doggy door very well. I'm actually a pretty smart boy! Oh, and did I mention handsome...with these blue eyes and all? 💙I am still a puppy, so I need guidance on all puppy matters....chewing, jumping up, play biting etc.I also don't remember ever wearing a collar or being hooked to this thing they call a leash...and it's a little scary! I'm still learning to trust that process, but I'm getting the hang of it! 💙I will steal your heart and be your best friend and a treasured part of your family if you adopt me! 💙I am available for foster-to-adopt with my adoption being finalized after my vetting is complete.I already started those poky things they call vaccines and microchips and started taking monthly heartworm prevention. My vetting will be completed by the end of the month after my neuter (I'm not sure I even want to know what that is)! 💙If you're interested in me becoming a part your family, please submit an adoption application at www.pawsofadamscounty.com.The ladies here say you must answer all questions completely and honestly to be considered being lucky enough to share your life with me! 💙I can't wait to meet my forever family! 💙www.pawsofadamscounty.com

Story
Meet Rito! Rito is a 4 year old red heeler or Australian cattle dog. If you’re looking for a calm heeler, Rito may just be your dog.Rito is past his velociraptor stage, and is quite chill. He loves being part of whatever you're doing and is happiest simply spending time with his family. Add in his love for snuggling, and you've got one incredibly devoted companion.Rito will follow you everywhere! Wherever you go, he isn't far behind. Making coffee? He's your assistant. Folding laundry? He's quality control. Watching a movie? He's already claimed the spot beside you. Even bathroom breaks aren't a solo activity anymore! He truly loves being part of his family's everyday life and wouldn't have it any other way.If you’re an active kind of person, Rito also loves walks, boat rides, and long hikes. He's the kind of dog who's just as happy exploring a trail as he is spending a quiet evening on the couch. Rito also loves water. Grab a hose, and you'll have one happy dog chasing the spray with pure joy. Rito would do best with older children due to his herding tendencies. He does fine with other dogs who are not rowdy. Cats are not recommended unless they are dog savvy. Rito is crate trained and potty trained.Rito is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and current on heartworm preventions. He is more than ready to find his forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick to your side no matter what, Rito is your boy! apply to adopt him atwww.pawsofadamscounty.com/adoption-foster-appWhen applying, please answer each question completely and honestly. Only complete applications will be considered. Thank you for considering adopting!Feel free to message us for more details!www.pawsofadamscounty.com
