Meet Norman, a 2-year-old standard collie. Norman is a dog's dog and prefers the company of other dogs over people. He is a very reserved dog who will take some time to win over. He is never aggressive towards people or other dogs, but is extremely reserved, and new people or things take him time to warm up to. He requires a home with a fenced yard, as he has previously escaped being out on just a lead. He is the sweetest boy, but would prefer to be a homebody; going out and about isn't his thing. His ideal home would be a calm, quiet home with older children and other dogs. Norman is neutered, vaccinated, started on prevention, and microchipped.

Story
Flynn is an 8 year old rough collie/golden retriever mix. He was adopted from Humane Fort Wayne in 2022 after being found as a stray in Indianapolis. Unfortunately, I don’t have any prior history before Humane Fort Wayne so his age is also a bit of a rough estimate. He does have anxiety and is on medication for it (his special needs). He is very loving with his person/people but gets stressed in new situations. He does extremely well at doggie daycare and gets along well with other dogs there. He is very protective of his house and his people. I believe he would thrive somewhere with other dogs and a fenced yard or fenced land where he could run around. He is unsure/very anxious in new situations so any new owner would need to keep this in mind.

Meet Serana! This girl is not only beautiful, but she is as sweet as can be too! Serana is great with people of all ages and other dogs. She is friendly and silly, with a goofy personality. Serana is great with potty training and crate training, and is all around smart. She does have vision impairments, and this does impact her daily life. She will need to get used to her environment, and does sometimes feel a bit shy in new places. Once she has her home layout down, she is much more confident and maneuvers perfectly. She is not blind, but the ophthalmologist Diagnosed her as nearsighted. Serana is 11 months old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and current on flea/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $200. To Adopt Serana, apply today at farfetcheddogrescue.org!

Finest Chocolate Fox came to us from a kill shelter in Kentucky. This is a nice, friendly girl who is good with people & other dogs. She is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her approx. birth date is 04/04/23 and she currently weighs 25.4#. We are guessing at her breed make up. Update - in foster & house trained! She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She is heart worm negative. She is tick bite positive but being treated with 30 days of antibiotic with no symptoms. Her adoption donation is $300 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. Tartan Trenton came to us from a kill shelter in Kentucky. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. He is smart & energetic! His approx. birth date is 09/09/22 and he currently weighs approx. 50#. We are guessing at his breed make up. He would make a lovely family pet for an active household. He was part of the prison program training at his shelter and sits and walks great on a leash. This guy is afraid of brushes and we are not sure why. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, is heart worm negative and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. His adoption donation is $300 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card.
