Luna is a 1 year old Bordie Collie mix who was caught by animal control and the shelter. Many of you may remember her making her rounds on facebook. Luna was quite popular. After all the work that was put in to catch Luna, she was not reclaimed, and now she is in search of a FURever home. Luna is sweet but slow to warm up to new people. She has shown no aggression towards other animals here at the shelter but is kenneled alone to make it easier for us to work with her. She is having to learn to trust all over again. She is making progress every day. She allows most of us to pet her, is walking on a lash now, and even hangs out in the director's office when it's not too hectic. You see, she still looks for escape routes from time to time so we have to be extra vigilant with her. She will need a quiet, calm, and understanding home to learn and grow in. She will make someone a fantastic companion given the time, devotion, and training she needs. She will be spayed as of the 17th of December, weighs about 36 pounds (she is mostly fluff), and is heart worm negative. Someone please come give this amazing girl the home she deserves.Her adoption fee is $115.50 plus tax. If you cannot adopt but would like to help please sponsor an animal. They will greatly appreciate it as will we.Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. He was found as a stray and never reclaimed, but he has quickly shown us what a sweet and joyful boy he truly is.When Magnus gets excited, he hops around like a little bunny—and it’s as adorable as it sounds. He’s also doing wonderfully with his kennel mate, showing good dog-to-dog manners so far. He loves everyone he meets and has gone from being scared when he first arrived to a lovable, affectionate companion.Since he came in as a stray, we don’t know how he does with other animals or kids, and we’re unsure if he is house or crate trained. But with his gentle nature and eagerness to bond, he has great potential to thrive in a patient, loving home.Magnus is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, and weighs 45 pounds.If you’re looking for a happy, sweet, playful dog who will brighten your days with his bunny hops and big heart, Magnus might be the perfect match. Gentle, sweet, and full of love, she’s the kind of dog who wins hearts the moment you meet her.Luna does wonderfully with kids, making her a great fit for families. She is also crate trained, which will help her adjust comfortably to a new home. While she does well with the dog she is currently kenneled with, we aren’t sure how she does with other animals beyond that.
