Story
Paige joined our family in July of 2018 after being adopted from the Boyle County Humane Society. We believe she was around a year and a half old at the time. She came to us already housebroken and knowing basic commands such as sit, lay down, and fetch. Paige is a sweet, laid-back dog who enjoys lounging around the house just as much as she enjoys being outside to play. She has spent most of her life living with other dogs and cats and has done well with them overall. Recently, we’ve had some challenges after adding a small dog to the home. While they initially got along, ongoing tension has developed as the younger dog has matured. We feel Paige would do best in a home where she can be the only dog or in a calmer environment that better suits her as she gets older. This decision has been incredibly difficult, and Paige is deeply loved. Our hope is to find her a loving, stable home where she can relax, feel secure, and continue to be the wonderful companion she has always been.

My Easter basket would be complete with a cozy couch, a soft blanket, and a family who wants me right by their side. One of my FairyTails friends took me home for a little sleepover, and guess what? I was egg-cellent! I played in the yard, came inside and relaxed on the couch with my chew stick, slept through the night uncrated without a peep, and had zero accidents. I even went out to a dog-friendly brewery where I politely accepted treats and charmed everyone I met. I am a medium-energy sweetheart who loves scratches, attention, and being near my people. I need to be an only dog in my new home. I just really love soaking up all the affection and giving it right back. This 4-year-old Heeler mix weighs 59 lbs and comes with an irresistibly cute tail and a playful personality. Rascal was actually adopted from us years ago, but sadly his owner recently faced unexpected housing issues and was forced to return him. We promised we’d help him find another amazing home — and now that search begins. Rascal has already been fully vetted today and is ready to start his next chapter. Here’s what we know about this handsome boy: ✨ 4 years old ✨ 59 lbs ✨ Housetrained ✨ Crate trained ✨ Good with other dogs ✨ Good with kids ✨ Loves toys and bones ✨ Playful and affectionate Rascal did test positive for a tick-borne illness, which is very common in Kentucky dogs, and he has already started antibiotics for treatment.
