Hi there! I’m Oakley and I’m ready to find my perfect forever home! I may be the perfect specimen, if I do say so myself. I’m an adult dog, so I’m past the puppy-crazies but I am still plenty active! I love to go on walks and hang out with my favorite people (well, that’s really any people, of any size!) At the end of the day though, I love to cuddle up on the couch and just rest. I would prefer to be the only dog in the home, so I can absolutely soak up your affection. My other favorite thing is…you guessed it! Snacks! I love a good treat, soft treat, crunchy treat, longer lasting-doesn’t matter to me! Could I be the one to complete your family? I know a whole lot of tricks. The only one I haven’t figured out yet? How to get someone to take me home. Hi, I’m Cosmo! I’m a smart, people-loving guy who already has quite the résumé. I know sit, shake, lay down, stand, heel, and leave it—and I’m always happy to show off what I know. There is, however, a belly-rub tax associated with spending time with me. I don’t make the rules. Shelter life can be a lot for a dog like me. There’s constant noise, activity, people coming and going, and other dogs everywhere. Sometimes that environment makes it harder to see the sweet, incredibly lovable dog underneath all that stimulation. Give me some one-on-one time and you’ll meet a dog who bonds with his people, loves attention, enjoys working with you, and has so much potential. I already have an amazing foundation—I just need someone willing to give me consistency, structure, and chance to settle into life outside of the shelter. I would do best as the only dog in my home, and I know that makes my perfect match a little harder to find. But being your one and only just means I’m prepared to take my position as your best friend very seriously. I have already learned sit, shake, down, stand, heel, and leave it.
