Posted April 2026 This sweet boy was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico by some caring good samaritans. Our rescue partners were able to get him fully vetted before being able to have him fly to us, he is now in a wonderful foster home here in Maine. Josh is approximately 6 months old and 25 lbs with a little growing and filling out still to do. He is currently living with a family who have older children, he is doing amazingly well for such a young pup and showing he is already housebroken! He loves walks and adventures, once he has exerted that young pup energy Josh is happy to sleep through the night in his crate without making a peep! Josh would love a fenced yard to zoom around in and would do well with other dogs although currently is an only dog in the household and is fine with that too. He is showing too much interest towards the felines in the home so he is looking to join a cat free family. This boy has so much joy and love to give and we are excited to help him find his forever family! ​ If you are interested in meeting Josh or any of our cuties, please fill out the adoption application. Please note: we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.

Mavi urgently needs a foster or adopter  After years of being overlooked, this beautiful 4-year-old girl is about to lose the only foster home she has known — and she has nowhere to go. Despite being an incredible dog with so much love and potential, Mavi continues to wait while others are chosen before her. We cannot let her fall through the cracks again. Mavi is the perfect mix of shepherd intelligence and collie spirit: brilliant, active, affectionate, and always ready for an adventure, She’s the ideal size for hikes, road trips, yard zoomies, and being your loyal sidekick through life. She absolutely thrives when given structure, activity, and a chance to learn. Mavi completed training with Big Hair Dog Training Services, where she quickly became a star student She is house trained, crate trained, knows excellent manners, and even sits politely at doorways before exiting. She is eager to please, highly trainable, and loves having a job to do. One of Mavi’s favorite things in the world is playing with other dogs. She would especially love a home with a canine companion to romp around with. That said, she can be an only dog. What breaks our hearts most is that Mavi is truly a GOOD dog -- she has done everything asked of her. She has waited patiently. She has worked hard. And yet she is still waiting for someone to finally choose her. Mavi is currently located in Sturbridge, MA, but transport can be arranged almost anywhere for the right home. Her trainer is even offering ongoing virtual support to help her continue succeeding. Please help us find Mavi the family she deserves before she loses her placement. She should not have to spend another year wondering why nobody has come for her. As a rescue, We do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. HOLLY is a gem in a fur coat! Look at her little squishy face, lovable and look at those beautiful eyes. She is going to be a love bug! She is playfully, cuddly and very sweet. This girl is asking for a family that she can call her own, that will provide food, toys, a bed and lots lots of love and attention.
