Story
Mojo was found as a stray and we made every effort to find his owners but to no avail. He is an Aussie mix and of course with the breed comes high activity. I will say that he loves his down time though! He is NOT an apartment dog. He needs a good sized fenced yard. He is not great in a crowd of dogs but will do well with a sister or brother to play with. He hasn't been tested with cats so we don't know about that. The vet believes his age to be about 6 years. He's neutered, vaccinated, crate trained and heart worm negative. He is more than ready for his forever home! ADOPTION FEE $400 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION!

Story
This precious girl came from one of the worst hoarding situations that we have ever dealt with. there were over 100 dogs on the property, none of them spayed or neutered. Finally, the authorities went in and they managed to get ALL of the dogs out of there. Filthy dirty situation, sick puppies, you name it. We choose to take Blossom home to our rescue because her eyes were begging us for love and attention. She was very pregnant and two weeks after arriving, she gave birth to 7 heathy puppies! Every single puppy was different, every singe puppy had a different daddy! We think that Blossom had never been paid any attention to because she was so shy. Once we weaned her babies we took her out of the nursery and into the house where she just blossomed! That's how she got her name! Her puppies have long since been adopted and now it's her turn. We actually did a DNA on her and it came back with 4 different breeds, which we kind of figured from the beginning. Australian Cattle Dog, Labrador Retriever, Pit Bull, Boxer. Yes, she is truly a "Mutt!. She is extremely smart and will do anything for a treat. I want her to have a nice fenced yard with lots of room to run. Cattle dogs are working dogs and they need lots of exercise! She is spayed, crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped and house broken, truly a gem! Ready for immediate transport. ADOPTION FEE $400 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION!

Story
Critter Cavalry Rescue is trying to help several dogs like Lyla out of a small rural shelter that is cramped and hard on the spirit of the kind of dog like Lyla.  She came to the shelter as an owner surrender forced by the animal control of the shelter.   She and her sister were being crated 24.7 just about and this was negligent and cruel.  She has been in this little shelter for almost 3 months now and her Blue Heeler spirit is just being stifled to get out and have some time to roam a yard, go for a fun run of fetch the ball or just be sleeping on a soft cozy dog bed at your feet.  It is just hard on the spirit when these dogs are stashed away and unnoticed and very little attention except to feed them.  She is 1-2 years old and 38 pounds.  She is mostly Heeler from what we can tell but on the darker side and she is warm and friendly but cautious too because of the confinement she has experienced.  Help us if you love the breed or love rescuing and fostering or even adopting.  She is fully vetted and ready to go!  Email us at  ccrnewengland@gmail.com   It is time to free Lyla! PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 12, 2024, 7:53 pm

Story
My name is Pauley and I would love to be your BFF kind of family member.   I am 4 months old and they tell me that I am a ONE OF A KIND sort of puppy.  My colors and my dazzling blue eyes and ears that are going to be unpredictable (will they go up or stay down)  is what makes everyone stop and turn around to take a look at me.  I honestly love everyone and every creature that I meet.  God just made me to be a happy boy inside and out.  I really like dogs, cats and I adore children.  I never meet a stranger that I didn't like.  They say that I am a forgiving pup and I have had some hard times and things done to me that most dogs would never forgive.  But all that is in the past.  I just feel that I must be kind and show people what the true love of a dog can feel like. They say it is hard to know exactly what kind of breeds are in my background but I know that they tell me I am different and very special.  I am almost 20 pounds and probably headed to being a 45 pound adult when I am fully grown. I am learning about crates, housebreaking schedules to follow and I have mastered walking on a leash.  I am ready NOW for a home and so here I am !!!!   If you want to make me a part of your life please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  I promise to be loyal through and through to YOU!        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com  October 12, 2024, 7:53 pm

Story
Say hello to our very sweet Red Heeler mix boy that we call Bert! This handsome boy is only 6 months old and weighs 27 pounds and was born in a barn in rural Middle Tennessee to a Heeler momma who was barely hanging to life.  She was nursed back to health and has found a home already. Without knowing who dad is, we might just say that he is a “Heinz 57” Heeler mix boy that is destined to be a 35 pound dog when fully grown.  What you realize about Bery when you meet him is that he is a little shy and follows like a shadow.  He is needing some very specific one on one attention and confidence building.  He would thrive in a home with lots of loving people and even other pets are welcomed like cats or dogs.  He is very accustomed to lots of busy hustle and bustle in the foster home and this is a good thing.  He just wants to be by your side and follow you around.  We will say up front that he does not have a lot of leash practice.  His busy foster mom has been moving in to a new house and she fosters cats and other dogs and stays a little tied up with running her own business from home AND being a busy foster to multiple abandoned cats and dogs.  Bert is a healthy boy and is neutered and had all his shots finished and microchipped and dewormings done. Bert loves to play and frolic with his brother Ernie who looks more like a Red Heeler even than Bert.  If you know about the Heeler breed, you will read that they are devoted and  extremely smart.  One of the smartest breeds of dogs on the planet.  In his foster home Bert is more outgoing than when in new outside the home situations.  That will change with some practice in taking him places.   We predict that Bert will be one of those never to be forgotten  family pets that will stand out in a family’s mind as one of the best dogs they ever owned.   BERT IS HOUSEBROKEN AND CRATE TRAINED….and rides like a champ in the car.   We love his brindle red coloring and his very unique and funky ears that may change shape still as he grows.  Please write to us and tell us where you live when asking about Bert.   Critter Cavalry Rescue would like to have you email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and ask for the application. Story
This handsome red heeler mix puppy is called Ernie and he and his brother Bert and their mom were found in a barn where they had been raised by their stray mother. Their mother was barely hanging on to life. The happy ending to her story is she is living with a wonderful family now and is loved and Ernie is looking for a wonderful family too raise him, love him, and bring his own special joy to. Ernie is a really delightful and well adjusted 6-month-old puppy that weighs 26 lb. He is a friendly little guy that enjoys meeting people and loves to chase a ball and bring it back to you. His innocence and love for life is contagious. He craves being with people that like him and speak kind words to him. He will crawl in your lap and be your best little buddy. His foster mom who raised he and his brother Bert says that he has the best temperament and personality. Recently this little guy went to a yoga class at the YMCA and had so much fun. It was a totally new and unique environment and he handled it with great poise and embraced all of the Zen vibes going on. Ernie is housebroken, crate trained, loves being around other cats and dogs alike and adores children. There isn't a living creature on this earth that he doesn't like. He is learning quite well,  how to walk on a leash and he rides in a car like a pro. He would be a great dog to take for hikes, long walks, outdoor events and adventures, and of course he would be a hit at any family reunions. Ernie is ready to call a family and their home his very own. If you are interested in making Ernie your perfect little sidekick in life, Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 12, 2024, 7:53 pm
